Hotel Ayodhya is an old deluxe hotel at apt location, renovated and pleasing. We stayed here for first time (though the name was known for many years) after stints with other old hotels. The hotel is comfortable. Only one type of rooms, Room size is large, larger than superior rooms of many star hotels. Rooms has one double bed, one small divan and double seating with teapoy. Bathroom is okay. Furnishing is standard ( not upmarket ) and ample, bed is modern and comfortable. Tea sachets and kettle are provided, no refrigerator. Aircon was modern. Service was top notch (usp of all of Kolhapur), polite, fast and efficient. Hotel has ample parking w.r.t rooms. Restaurant was another feather, good ambience, polite & mannered service and very tasty food, we had authentic Kolhapuri dishes. Overall a very nice stay.

Wir haben in diesem Hotel während unserer Reise auf unserem Weg zum Mangalore übernachtet. Es gibt nur eine Handvoll Bewertungen in TA aber Google sind 150 seltsame Bewertungen, die ziemlich anständig war und wir nahmen den Tauch übernachten. Das Hotel liegt direkt auf der Autobahn mit einem großen Parkplatz. Zimmer und angemessen Größe, gepflegt Speck und Spaziergang mit sauberen und großen Badezimmern. Restaurant ist im angrenzenden Gebäude, aber die Lebensmittelqualität war top nautch und wir hatten Abendessen von Mutton thali und einige chinesische Zubereitungen. Für Frühstück hatten sie 5-6 Schlüsselelemente wie idli vada poha etc. Gesamt guter Erfahrung

Positives 1)I was looking for closer location to Mumbai Bangalore highway. This place was 3.5 kms from that. I was okay with that. 2)The room was bigger. I was okay with the size. This was okay for 2 persons but not for third person. Third person would be a crowd. 3)They offered 1 mineral water bottle as complimentary which was good 4)The breakfast was served hot and it was tasty. They served Poha, Upama and Egg omlet (I have stated an important quality issue in my dislikes. Negatives 1)Breakfast was hot and tasty except for Egg Omlet as it had smell of oil. I am not sure of the quality of oil used for Omlet or the pan used to shallow fry it (may be it was unclean). When person asked me about quality of the breakfast I stated that. This person when he spoke to an old *** he was screaming as to why am I complaining looking at me. This behavior was highly ridiculous. The feedback is always honest and one must happily accept it and must look at it and revert only after checking. The old *** has never learnt this such a simple yet very important thing in life. He must be given this feedback which are towards him. This is why for staff they didn't get highest rating. 2)The beds were not hard enough and the pillows were too hard. Hence it was not good for sound sleep. I could sleep well. My wife had disturbed sleep due to this issue. Hence comfort score above was not the best. 3)The toilet door was too noisy when it was opened or closed.
