The last time I was on this property, some years ago, it was a wellness/health resort. I notice that the latest review is as long ago as 2015. I don't know when it changed its function. Anyway, to the hear and now. The site is on the main road. Inside the entrance gates and behind the wall is a sizeable parking area. The grounds are well kept and lush with pools and ye olde Thai ornamentation and statuary. Each villa is two-story in the traditional old Thai style. In the early evening I could hear the monks chanting in the temple which is directly behind the villa compound. My room was spacious and comfortable and could easily sleep a couple and two or three small kids if they wanted to stay in the same room. No mean balcony but a big terrace area in the middle of which is still the 'pagoda' on which massages were once given. It is connected to power and withing wi-fi range. I would have stayed longer than the one night but for one thing. Directly across the main road is a 'temporary' market and a stage. The volume from the PA of that stage, at the back of the market is staggering. The live music carried across the road, to the back of the villa compound. My doors were rattling, things in the room were vibrating. It was so loud it was funny. This went on till 1am. Did the band play the next night? I didn't wait to find out. I really liked the olde world style of this place and would recommend it but don't get caught out by the noise. I would advise you to pop in when on KS rather than book online in hope.
