Wunderschön in einer Mangrove gelegen. Es ist intim und kleinräumig. Das Aufwachen am Fluss in der Stille ist unvergesslich. Es ist klein, sodass man wirklich übereinander sitzt und abends buchstäblich alles von den Nachbarn hören kann. Was mich enttäuscht hat, war die Rezeptionistin, sie war wirklich unhöflich, besonders als wir uns über ein ernstes Sicherheitsproblem bei einer Bootsfahrt beschwerten. Es wurde gelöst, aber Wein musste drauf sein, was schade war. Sie versprach uns auch einen anderen Preis für die Anmietung eines Rollers als auf der Rechnung angegeben. Wir haben für alles bezahlt, aber es fühlte sich nicht richtig an. Es ist kein Manager oder Eigentümer anwesend, mit dem Sie sprechen können. Es ist zu teuer für die Qualität, die sie bieten. Wir waren enttäuscht. Wir wurden mehrmals von Leuten gestört, die rauchen wollten, obwohl dies zum Glück nicht erlaubt war. Das Personal hat nichts unternommen. Alles ist daher sehr feuerempfindlich.

Übertriebene Restaurantpreise. Bitte beachten Sie, dass die Klimaanlage ab 19:00 Uhr und der Check-out um 11:30 Uhr statt um 12:00 Uhr erfolgen muss.

Was für eine tolle Zeit wir hatten! Wir wurden herzlich von Ning begrüßt. Sie ist super freundlich und hat uns bei all unseren Fragen sofort geholfen. Sie denkt schon aktiv mit, denn die Rückreise hatte sie bereits organisiert. Auch das Mieten eines Rollers wird sofort organisiert und alles in einer sehr entspannten Atmosphäre! Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Tour mit unserem eigenen Boot und genossen das wunderschöne Korallenriff. Das Zimmer war wirklich ein Bild! So atmosphärisch! Hier werden Sie sich vollkommen entspannen! Es ist sein Geld wert. Das Essen ist sehr lecker! Es gibt auch einen schönen Bereich zum Entspannen am Wasser. Es ist einfach toll! Sehr zu empfehlen, wenn Sie Ruhe, gutes Essen und schöne Natur lieben! Ning und andere Mitarbeiter, danke! 💕

Great place to relax. Stay for two three nights and you will find a place made of love with great food and stunning cocktails. When you come all the way to Ko Kut dont miss this place. We loved it also because it is such a unique and special experience after all those (top) typical Beach Resorts. Good luck Bann Makok team and keep the positive spirit!

😁: the place lies near a small clear river, full of fish, moving with the tide, in the middle of mangroves. The hotel is tastfully furnitured. It is nice to lie on the terrace and look at the river. 😖: there was a very bad smell around our room and the area next to it as mentioned in many other comments. This might stem from the muddy ground but also from the toilets. Especially when the air condition is not on, this is difficult to bare. Officially air condition is on from 7:00pm to 7:00 am otherwise the room offers only a fan which does not manage to clear the air. Two nights the air condition didnt work at all. Without air condition only with a small fan it is very difficult to spend time in the room during the day, it smells and is really hot. The room itself is dark, very weak electric light, I had to read with the torch of my mobile phone, small windows with curtains. These curtains are necessary as the back of the room seems to function as an area for garbage deposit , stray dogs , their feces … this is also the entry area of the hotel. To get towels you have to ask the receptionist, it is not enough to put the dirty towels on the floor. The dirty ones are removed, but new towels are not provided Restaurant: the breakfast ( included ) is very poor. Some flakes, yoghurt, ready made juices, some fruits. You can order eggs in different forms. This would be alright, for a cheap hotel, but not for this price. Restaurant food is just ok, you can eat at many places much better, for example at shanta resort. Breakfast at mermaid cafe, which we discovered during our trip, is really great, everything homemade with bowls and croissant, homemade jam etc, Personal: except the man looking for the boats and one waiter in the restaurant the employees are arrogant and unfriendly . Especially the lady at the reception who seem to be in charge of the hotel is arrogant and passive aggressive. When you ask something, she gives you the feeling that you did something wrong or that it is too much work for her. Very unfriendly, very untypical for thailand. We stayed for 8 days in bann makok, we will certainly not return.
