The hotel is very clean, the staff are great, the beds are comfy. We stayed 4 nights and found it quiet in the area. The breakfast was amazing with a made to order omelette bar as well as other hot entrees and fresh waffles (with strawberries and whipped cream)!

We booked this place while on a motorcycle trip. When we arrived at Stewart Mountain Lodge we called Martin who turned up to tell us we had been moved to the other hotel. I’m so glad he did!! What a great old historical building and a great place to stay for the night. The hotel is next to the bakery and a Mexican restaurant. We had three rooms on the third floor which had its own private dining room and lounge area. The rooms are dated but it had everything I needed…. Clean and comfortable bed; good wifi, tv, coffee machine and a very hot shower. For a group travelling together having a dining area and lounge to sit and chill is perfect! I would highly recommend this place and Martin was a nice man to deal with.

Pros: Location is great, 5 mins or so away from the airport and about 5-8 mins tops to downtown Terrace. Rooms are clean. Loved the shampoo/conditioner/body wash. Breakfast was decent and the coffee is wonderful. Cons: The hotel says they have a free airport shuttle. No one at front desk during check-in mentioned you need to reserve the shuttle three hours in advance. Would of helped if we knew beforehand and NOT at check-out. We checked out at 9am. The shuttle is available 8am-10pm on their website and 8am-8pm on **********. They claim there is no driver. Odd that the hotel offers free airport shuttle service but they don’t have drivers on hand. We had to call a taxi and we almost missed our flight cause the wait is a good 20-45 mins depending on where you’re headed to in Terrace. They give you a bottle of Costco Kirkland water (500ml) upon check-in but won’t give you additional ones throughout your stay; like one bottle per day at other chain hotels. It wouldn’t hurt to offer two bottles at check-in. The lady made it seem like she’s handing out bottles of Fiji water. Def a tad off putting considering you’re in the middle of nowhere and they charge $200+/night during peak season. Overall, nice hotel with a good location. It’s clean. Beds are not extremely comfy. Information given to guests at check-in could use some work.

Stayed for 3 nights while our truck was getting work done. Staff was super friendly. We stayed in a king suit which had a king bed and a pull out couch. It's nice to have a couch over a 3 night stay. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The price for rhe room was very reasonable. I would recommend a stay here.
