Romantica Hotel

"We stayed in the hotel rooms. All had balconies overlooking the sea. The rooms were spacious, but it's a shame the cleanliness was decidedly lacking. There was old dust on the bedside tables and in the closet. We had a problem with ants throughout our stay, constantly present in the bathroom and often in the bedroom as well. The location was excellent, just steps from the beach. The breakfast buffet could be improved; there was no fresh fruit, only canned fruit."

"Super family run hotel, with commanding views of Agia Pelagia and the coast line of northern Kythira. The hotel is spotlessly clean and though we never used it, has a wonderful swimming pool on a sunny terrace affording great views down to the town, the sea and coast. The breakfast buffet is of a high standard, with plenty of choice. And I purposely leave the best until last. My wife and I have visited Greece for over 40 years, and we say without doubt, that the beds at Kythea Resort are the best and most comfortable, by far, that we have experienced in all that time. The linen and comfort they afford is of the highest standard. Highly recommended hotel."

They do everything to help and make our stay unique. The hotel is very clean, the breakfast is excellent and the service is perfect. "Unsere Bekanntschaft mit dem Hotel fiel in eine schwierige Zeit für uns aufgrund des Brandes in Mylopotamos. Ich kann mit Sicherheit sagen, dass die Filoxenia Apartments ihre Werte – Gastfreundschaft und erstklassiger Service – verkörpern. Unser Zimmer war sehr geräumig und sauber, mit einem Kingsize-Bett, einem Sofa und einer kleinen Küche mit Herd und Kühlschrank. Das Badezimmer war sehr komfortabel mit einer großen, besonderen Dusche. Die Einrichtung war minimalistisch und sehr gepflegt. Vom Balkon aus hatte man Meerblick. Die Außenbereiche sind alle sehr gepflegt, wobei der Pool und der Wartebereich besonders hervorstechen. Beeindruckt hat mich das Frühstück: Alle Speisen wurden aus frischen Zutaten zubereitet, und es gab sogar frisch gepressten Orangensaft, was in Hotels in Griechenland und im Ausland selten ist. Das gesamte Personal war sehr freundlich und stets hilfsbereit. Kurz gesagt: Ein Aufenthalt lohnt sich, denn Sie finden hier alles, was Sie brauchen, an einem wirklich schönen Ort, der Ihnen Ruhe und Entspannung schenkt. Wir hoffen, bald wiederzukommen und in Ihrem Hotel zu übernachten! Vielen Dank für Ihre Gastfreundschaft!"

"Kithira is a beautiful island, a real greek experience. Crystal water and a lot of beaches, some with structure (but never “invasive”) some fully natural. Lidea is the ideal location. All places are within 30 mins reach. Lidea is a real jewel, with everything you may need, modern and at the same time very traditional. A garden with a lot of plants and flowers. The owners are extremely kind and providing a lot of suggestions on the island. The breakfast in the morning in the garden is rich: everyday there is something new, freshly home cooked. We really consider to return in the future."
