The hotel is close to the Kokura station, on the north side which is not as busy as the south side. The room is perfect for a solo traveller, might be tight for 2 people. My room overlooked a train track and you can see the train pass by. It's not noisy though. Lots of comic books available to borrow to your room (register at receptionist) for when the weather is bad. And free breakfast and dinner with rice, curry, tea, coffee and juice. Staff spoke little English but they have printed information available in English to explain the facilities, rules and how things work.

I like the hotel because of its location and lots of comics. Within a 4 minute walk from Kokura station, and Kokura castle, riverside walk all within comfortable walking distance, you can take a monorail from JR station also if you don't like walking.

The hotel was clean, easy to access and overall convenient.

All the staff were nice and friendly. They lended me an umbrella since it was raining on the first day. The room was fairly clean and spacious enough for one person. The location was very good, only 1-2 min walk away from the Kokura station. Free breakfast was okay.

The hotel is very near to the station. So, it is effortless to find it. It’s clean and have very friendly staffs. However, it was very pricey for a single bed room to cost ＞40,000Yen per night .

It's a good hotel, good location near the train station.The rooms are clean and a little wider than Japanese hotel standards.And I like the food service here. The hotel has curry rice to eat both morning and evening. It's very good and delicious.

Location is good, just next to train station and all the convenience stalls.are within reach. The room for a single traveller is reasonable. The hotel provides free curry rice and drinks in the morning and evening. Taste ok to me. Overall will recommend this place if you are visiting Kokura

Curry rice is provided for breakfast and dinner. We have the best curry rice in Japan! There is a selection of manga which u could bring to your room to read. Just return them to the lobby when u are fone

Very near to Kokura station. Very convince. Curry rice is very delicious.

Good location just beside main train station and lots of food choices. Decent space for solo travellers. Not too comfy bed but it’s alright for short stay and the affordability.
