Daiwa Roynet Hotel Kokura Ekimae

Nice stay with family. Breakfast can be improved, more selections, sashimi rice, poached egg…

Great location and easy drive to mojiko. The rooms are clean and new.

Location is close to the kokura station. Behind the hotel is the shopping street. Very convenient.

It’s very hospitable for the clerks at the counter. Nice location. Great service. Clean and spacious room.

The location is excellent, right near main station. Lots of places to eat around, comfortable to travel in the area. Hotel room is clean and tidy. It’s small, but it’s common in such areas like city centre.

This is an absolutely wonderful hotel!! The staff were very friendly and polite staff. I was especially impressed when they greeted and bowed at me every time when I took the lift and it opened on the reception floor!! I felt special. The double room I stayed was spacious with a massage chair! Never had I expected to find it in a hotel in the urban area of Japan. What was more impressive was that the hotel offered a variety of pillows upon request, including neck pillow which was similar to the one I used at home. I was pleasantly surprised to know that the Roynet hotel chain offered this service. It was very useful and I had very good sleeps for the two nights I stayed! The air conditioning in the room was just right. It was quiet throughout the night and morning. I was grateful for that. In addition, I must compliment the female staff who was in charged of the car park service of the hotel. She was very nice and friendly. It was also my first time encountering automatic mechanic parking in Japan - very convenient! Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Kokura. This hotel is one of the best I’ve stayed in Japan!

Location of the hotel is good. Closed to the Kokura JR station and the traditional restaurant street is just next to it.

The hotel located very near to the JR station , approx 5 mins walk to station , there’s many restaurants nearby

The room is great.
