Airlie Arms Hotel

Lovely stay. Was here for one night and was an ideal location for our stay as we were visiting family. Staff really friendly and accommodating. The bar and restaurant was cosy with great set of choices on menu. Food was great! The rooms were very clean and comfortable in a quiet location. Would definitely visit again. Also, dog friendly which is another added bonus if you want to bring your doggies with you.

We had a fantastic overnight stay at the Airlie Arms Hotel. On arrival, the staff were very welcoming. We had booked a table for lunch. My husband is coeliac, and I have a dairy allergy. Quite often, I am treated as a vegan but not here. They have specific dishes, which are DF (DairyFree) I had a scrumptious pizza. The bases are made in-house! There are plenty of gluten-free options for my husband, too. The staff have been so well trained. They repeat your order back to you. I wish more establishments would use this method. We had a beautiful room. It was immaculate! Every need catered for. There's a wee filling station in the corridor with extra tea, coffee, milk, etc. It's not something you encounter very often. The cooked to order breakfast the next morning was one of the best I have ever had. Well done to the Ewart team. You run a superb hotel.

Lovely wee hotel, we really enjoyed our stay. Everyone was helpful and the room was clean and comfortable. Food was delicious and reasonably priced although there was no residents bar so bar closed at 11pm (but there were a couple of good pubs nearby that were open a bit later).

Staff friendly. Good central position for Kirriemuir. Breakfast good. No parking. My room was a single on the top floor and not great to be fair. Was a bad sign when receptionist said she couldn’t offer me an upgrade as it was busy. The double room my friends had was fine… the luck of the draw i guess.

A beautiful old Inn,which has been sympathetically renovated while retaining a lot of original features,stain glass and some furniture etc . Very well appointed bedrooms Excellent breakfast Good coffee Well priced lunch and dinner menu Very friendly staff. Had good chats at breakfast time with Margaret but all staff deserve praise for their friendliness and service levels.

We were not disappointed, the staff were very friendly and helpful, the accommodation up to standard and very clean, we ate at the restaurant and whole heartily enjoyed our meal. If you are looking for accommodation outside of large town Airlie Arms is certainly worth a stay.
