Horrible and terrible experience. Location is great but food quality is very poor. Service is good but rooms are shabby and dull.

Worst is the word that suits this resort. Nothing was as promised by the owner while booking it. We opted for two voyage rooms for four adults and two kids, aged 4 and 11 respectively, and paid everything in advance. I paid 21,600 in advance for my 3-day stay from 14th June to 17th June. I checked in at approximately 1 PM and checked out at 2 PM on 14th June. Below are some issues that I faced during my visit: - No electric kettle in the room. When we checked with the owner, she told us all the kettles were short-circuited and not a single kettle in the hotel was working. - Torn curtains in the room, with the curtain bar bent so it couldn’t move the curtains. - Bedding in the room was full of dust. - The room was full of a bad smell. - No Wi-Fi. Wi-Fi was available on the ground floor only, and the voyage rooms are on the 2nd floor, so no connectivity. They called a hotspot Wi-Fi. - In one of the rooms, there was an open-wired extension board, which was a major hazard for my kids. - The balcony had a few chairs, but their condition was such that you couldn’t sit on them. And Open circuit board in lobby. - They had a TV, but it was not working in any of the rooms. - The windows were broken." I asked for a refund, and after 1 hour of discussion, they refunded me only half the amount, 11,500. The owner told me that they would suffer due to the last-minute cancellation, so they could only refund me half the amount. However, the situation was a bit different. I reached on time, but the rooms were not up to the mark of what they had committed, so it was the resort's fault, not mine. They should have refunded my full amount as it was their fault, not mine. Due to this commitment issue by the resort, I had to search for a new hotel in Chitkul and paid a premium to get it. I cannot even explain how much of a mental suffering it was for me to search for a new hotel with two tired kids after traveling.

We came here with family. There was a very bad smell at the reception itself. There is no cleanliness at all. The kitchen is very dirty. Our experience was very bad.

Wrost stay of our Kinnaur trip. The hotel is very old and not at all maintained. Rooms and bathroom are stinky and shabby. When we reached there it was raining and got very cold. 1) Heater provided on request but was charged Rs350/- In other hotels it comes complimentary with room with no extra charge. 2) Heater provided had to be changed many times as everything was in bad maintenance. 3) Bed warmer provided at night also had to be changed twice as it was not working. 4) To add to our horror we realised we were given room with broken window from where chill air was passing making our condition worse.when asked Mr Manager names Shubham gave some wired response, he was not ready to understand. He looked like a young guy with no experience, just strolling around the hotel with no concern with guest issues. However later we were given different room but situation was not good there either. Cold air was still passing in the room. 4) Kitchen was dirty, same with dinning area. The chairs were too cold to sit, they should have atleast put cover on the chair to protect from cold. 5) There was hardly any food option, reason being Manager Shubham has not stocked up enough food. Overall our stay was very difficult on that cold night, with hotel not even providing a basic heater for comfort. I will strongly not recommend this hotel at all. They charge good but are run by inexperienced young folks. No facility to provide from extra cold there. Hotel is totally against there tag line. Location is good but that will get from any other hotel too. Only good part was there employee Kanha who does odd jobs in hotel. He actually run around to attend our concerns. Running around to change heater and bed warmers several times. He was attending all the guest. This should have been done by Mr Manager Shubham. Shubham was worst good for nothing. I will give 5 rating to Mr Kanha, very nyc and humble guy.

Food, Amenities and services are terrible. Quilts, pillow are so old and dirty, one would even hate to even touch it. Room’s interior, window, bathroom door, main door latch all in a very poor state. No internet service at all.

This was the worst travel-ling experience i have had. I wasted my money totally and if you want to do it too you can book this hotel. The hotel starting from its reception is very untidy. Furniture of this hotel looks many years old. Room was very dirty. Pillow cover and bed sheet were not clean. They were literally yellow.

Except for the location, everything is terrible. The hotel needs maintenance. Everything is old from the furniture to the linen to the paint. The hotel had a funny smell throughout. Food was very very bad. Service is from a bunch of boys who have received no training what so ever. You need to keep reminding them that you asked for something and they just nod their heads without doing anything about it. Since there is not much competition in Chitkul, the hotel is surviving. Once good hotels come up, it will perish. The only saving grace was the view for our room (topmost floor)

Property is poor Its terrible.I was there on 3 -4 may in Voyage valley view room .All fixtures of bathroom are loose no mesh over drain The whole room was obnoxiously smelling in spite of room freshener spray The room lights are in sufficient.Funny coloured all linens and blanket cover.In Our bath room the running water was problem which was not in other but it was corrected but it again happened in morning and again I had to call them to correct in the mean time I had used other one Food was good Staff were cooperative but they are also helpless if owner is not interested in improving the property Room was without TV Teamaker WiFi To sum up avoid to go if other options are available
