Hotel is amazing including the rooms, check in, staff, recognition of Hilton honours and breakfast. Unfortunately this stay was negative as we were on floor 3 below the Lexington which had a DJ/ disco until 1am. The issue was resolved and we will be making further bookings. We rang reception at 10:30 to ask when the disco/ DJ in the Lexington would end. We were told 11:45 and we said there was a constant thudding as we were on floor 3 but it would be manageable for an hour as we could still get to sleep at a reasonable time. The receptionist told us she had been up once to talk to the DJ about turning the volume down. The receptionist said she would be going up again and that these issues happen. The room was shaking and rattling due to the thudding. We rang down again at 11:55 to be told that the information we previously got was incorrect and that the DJ would be on until 1am. The person on reception asked who gave us the information but we didn’t have a name, we just knew that at 10:30 when we rang down, we got told 11:45. We asked for a room on a lower floor and we were told that this could not be authorised by the member of staff on the phone, it had to be authorised by the manager. If we had been told the correct information at 10:30 when we called reception, we would have requested a move then to a lower floor and saved the hours of not being able to sleep and the stress due to this. We received another call at 12:16 from reception saying they were going to go up and ask the music to be turned down. We did acknowledge that there are limits to what the staff can do and that it is not their fault. Our two previous stays at this hotel were amazing and even now, we can’t fault the room, check in service, acknowledgment of Hilton honours or breakfast. All of these areas are perfect and could not be improved upon. Staff are friendly and attentive and they are a credit to the hotel. But to pay for a hotel room and have noise stopping you from sleeping until 1am isn’t good enough. We spoke to manager, Andy, about our experience and he was really good and we came to a resolution that we are happy with. Due to how this was resolved, we will be making future bookings at this hotel as we travel to Hull regularly and we don’t want one negative stay to outweigh the positive ones.

Das ist ein sehr schlechtes Hotel in einer abgeschnittenen Lage. Die Zimmer sind kalt und schlecht dekoriert. Es braucht eine große Renovierung. Die Betten sind sehr komfortabel, aber nachdem ich mehr Zeiten hier geblieben habe, ist die Qualität des Bettes im Allgemeinen schlecht (gedreht / gebraten etc.) und die Sauberkeit der Zimmer kann manchmal sehr fragwürdig sein. Das Essen in der Bar und Grill - gut das Menü ändert nie und es ist extrem getroffen und missen in Bezug auf die Qualität. Sie wissen nie, ob Ihr mittlerer seltener Steak selten, gut gemacht oder vielleicht mittlerer seltener ankommen wird. Das Frühstück hat keine Sorte und es gibt keine Möglichkeit, nichts anderes als schwarze Eier zu haben. Das Problem, wie oben erwähnt, ist, dass die gewählte Lage Sie in anderen Optionen als zum Essen in der Hotelbar beschränkt sind.

Hier war es 4 Nächte, zum ersten Mal in einem Holiday Inn Hotel. Ein schöner Aufenthalt. Zimmer 224 war sehr nett mit einem großen Blick auf die Marine. Das Personal war ohne Ausnahme sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und effizient. Das Hotel war hell und sauber. Die Zimmerpreise und Lebensmittel / Getränke sind nicht billig, aber ich bedauere das überhaupt nicht. Sehr, sehr , kleine Niggers: Das In-Room TV brauchte eine Aktualisierung - funktional durch sehr kluky. Decaf-Optionen könnten dem Frühstückskoffer hinzugefügt werden, im Gegensatz zu den Beschränkungen auf die Verwendung von Beuteln. Vorschlag, wenn Sie buchen: Buchen Sie ein Zimmer mit einer Marina-Aussicht, große Aussichten und ist von den langen Straßen auf der A63 außerhalb der anderen Seite des Hotels entfernt. Insgesamt ein sehr guter Aufenthalt, wäre glücklich, zurückzukehren, sehr empfohlen,

Unsure where to even start, terrible room all round. I can honestly say I've stayed in cleaner, more comfortable hostels. The bed was an old basic divan and the mattress was no better than a 4 inch thick sofa cushion. Think Argos budget line. The room was very cold and the radiator didn't work but they had kindly supplied a filthy plug in oil heater which wasn't much use due to the size of the room and the only plug sockets being at the opposite end to the bed. Ended up moving the bed to the other end of the room to be near the heater. There was also a dirty fan for the warmer months to make up for the lack of air conditioning. The power switched off at some point in the night and had to be restarted with the room key card so the room was cold again on waking. Bathroom fittings were dated and rusty with rust stains down the walls in places and the bathwater was lukewarm on the highest temperature setting. Quickest bath of my life as the cold room made the tepid water cold in the time it took to wash my hair. The light above the bathroom mirror was cracked and repaired with sellotape. Not much of a problem but the TV was tiny and touching the ceiling so very uncomfortable to watch. Dirty skirting boards and splashes up the walls in places, dust bunnies under the bed, hairy taps,one hanger in the wardrobe, paint on the curtains and to top it all off no spoon to stir the tea and coffee with. The room in general was shabby and tired and doesn't look to have been updated in many years. The only saving graces were the proximity to the station, free WiFi and clean sheets.

Empfang durch freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal an der Rezeption. Das Zimmer war sauber und die Aussicht vom Zimmer war schön. Die Dusche war schrecklich! Luke warm bei der heißesten Temperatur und eiskalt, wenn Sie die Temperatur in eine andere Richtung drehen. Wir bestellten Essen über den QR-Code für den Zimmerservice, weil es meiner Tochter nicht sehr gut ging, aber über eine Stunde gewartet und es kam nie. Ich habe ungefähr 20 Minuten lang versucht, anzurufen, aber niemand ging ans Telefon. Ich ging zur Rezeption und sprach mit der Dame, die sich sehr entschuldigte und erklärte, dass die App nie funktioniert. Wenn dies der Fall ist, sollte das Hotel vielleicht die Codes aus dem Zimmer entfernen und stattdessen durch ein traditionelles Zimmerservice-Menü ersetzen! Die Dame an der Rezeption tat alles, um das Problem zu beheben, und schien an dieses Ereignis gewöhnt zu sein. Da ich so lange auf den Zimmerservice warten musste (war nur als Snack gedacht), habe ich es leider verpasst, die Einrichtungen zu nutzen, kann also nichts dazu sagen, aber sie sahen gut aus. Das Frühstück war fantastisch, muss ich sagen, gut zubereitet und viel Auswahl, bedienen Sie sich selbst, was mir sehr gut gefallen hat.
