Venus Paradise

Nice hotel in the middle of nowhere so you can’t walk out. Nice pool and restaurant but room, albeit large had a bad sewage smell in the bathroom (room 902). It was reported but didn’t remedy it. The hotel is Ideal for an evening’s relaxing after sightseeing. We’re not impressed with the room service person who was actually hassling us in the evening. Constantly ringing the bell asking if we want water/towels. Well no, we don’t, you’ve already cleaned our room and left water and towels. He came here the last 2 nights and we tipped him. Perhaps we shouldn’t have as he’s now become a nuisance ringing twice tonight on our door despite the first time me telling him we didn’t need anything. He’s now come back and asked can I come in? I told him no and closed the door. Sorry we don’t want to be hassled like this on holiday. We want to relax if we need anything we’ll ask. This has put us off returning here.
