Seawinds Bed and Breakfast

Patricia and Gerry are the perfect model of B and B hosts. Their welcome was fulsome and genuine. They talked to us as friends, chatting about where we had been, our family and plans for our trip. Our room was of generous proportions and overlooked the harbour. We could watch the fishing boats leaving and the moon's reflection on the water. Patricia gave great advice on where to eat, the local shops and what to see and do in the area. The self service breakfast was extensive. Everything you could want and fresh homemade scones. The place to stay in Killybegs.

I stayed with Patricia and Gerry for a business trip recently. I felt very welcome from the word go. The room was very spacious and very clean. The bnb is in the heart of the town which was ideal for my visit. I will certainly be staying here again for my next visit to killybegs.

One of the best accommodations we have stayed in Co Donegal, Patricia and Gerry were very welcoming. The family room was very clean and spacious enough for a family of 4, the fresh scone served every morning was delicious. I highly recommend the Marina Cafe and the Seafood Shack both were only less than 10 mins walk from the B&B. They served the best Calamari ever. Parking is also a bonus. We stayed in the room overlooking the Pier. The magnificent Slieve League is only 30 minutes from the place. We would definitely be back. Thank you so much Patricia and Gerry. I spent a lot of time staying at Seawinds B&B for work last year and my experience there was wonderful. The rooms are extremely clean, the guest kitchen was invaluable, breakfasts were brilliant and Patricia and Gerry are genuinely lovely people and wonderful hosts, happy to help with anything. The balcony during the summer time is a great spot for sunning with a good book and a cold drink. Killybegs itself is a lovely place year-round. You can watch the boats at work, seals in the harbour, get a coffee from Mrs B's coffee house or visit the nearby stunning Fintra beach and the Slieve League cliffs. Next door to Seawinds is Melly's, who does the best scampi and chips I have ever had! I would highly recommend Seawinds B&B to anyone looking to stay in Killybegs for work or while on holiday.

Really comfortable, really friendly and helpful hosts, Thank You Gerry & Patricia for your welcome!! We really enjoyed your continental style breakfasts, scones are superb and the yoghurt n fruit just heavenly. Loved the access to the guest kitchen too!! Yes, parking is tight but it is private and secure, very reassuring!! We are already planning our return, for some more peace and relaxing Donegal-time!

Both Gerry & Patricia will look after you well. They are quite a team. We had room 4 which we booked well in advance of arrival,facing the back no problem as nice room with very comfy beds & good shower room too. Breakfast is continental with style try the yogurt & you will get a freshly made brown scone [really Irish] too. Location is amazing. Right in centre of Killybegs but quiet up a short slope from sea level with ample free car park alongside. We went to Andersons fish mainly restaurant both nights approx 150 meters walk, but you must book it in advance as only a small family owned & family managed eatery. Always busy! Gerry & Patricia have a free to residents home drawn detailed map available which we recommend 100% - allow half a day to travel all the suggested route with stop, but you can do as much or little as you wish.
