Premier Inn Oxford Kidlington (Airport)

Family visit to Blenheim Palace, We’ve stayed in many premier inns and this one is the best ever. The service and staff very helpful, room perfectly clean and warm the breakfast was absolutely fantastic plenty of choice

Claudia on reception went beyond the call of duty helping with urgent email printing. Polite-professional and very very patient as it took some time to sort out amazing. We stay in many hotels this premier inn met five star service . The staff in the attached restaurant were also great and the room clean and comfortable.

Let me start out with the staff. It is wonderful. Sweet, helpful, accommodating, and easy to deal with, but this establishment is the worst hotel I have ever stayed. Here is why. The pillows are S#!te. They are like rocks. The towels are worse, and the TV is even worse than that and shuts off every flipping hour. In my case, it wakes me up because I need the TV to sleep. Is this to save 50p on electricity. Give me a freaking break, you cheapskates. The air conditioning shuts off as well, so there is another reason you can wake up in the middle of the night sweating. Who cares about the customer if they have to work in the morning or drive after getting no sleep. That is hospitality at its finest. The company can't get people to work there. I wonder why. Maybe it's because you pay them s#!tty, give them no time off, and treat them like trash. I know in the US slavery was abolished, but apparently, it's still allowed in the UK. I guess that makes sense. The Beefeater is part of the hotel where the food isn't bad but because nobody want to work there they are closed most of the time. Don't let me get started on the internet. Hey management, it's FREAKING 2024. Get some bandwidth. I have more bandwidth in 1 of my homes than you penny pinching greedtards do at your entire hotel. Long story short, I had the deal with the same problems for two weeks. Kiddlington and Redditch. I have not gotten a decent night's sleep the whole time, and I can't wait to get back to work in the US.

Yet again no Wi-Fi. There’s no phone reception at this hotel. Something to do with it being near an airport….apparently. So, you can’t use 4G or 5G. On our previous visit there was no Wi-Fi connection, but we thought we’d give it another chance. Yet again, no Wi-Fi this time and no warning prior to arrival. No warning on arrival. Next morning it became clear from talking to the staff that it was an ongoing problem. The hotel should be honest about this PRIOR to booking. Hiding it from customers is just plain dishonest.

Rekha gave excellent service when I needed some short-notice assistance! Hotel is modern, in a handy location, has a spacious restaurant, fully-functional TVs (so you can bring your own movies etc on USB), a large restaurant attached - all in all, a very good experience.

The staff have all been fantastic especially Rekha, Toby , Joe,and Jennifer. Rekha has been wonderful, polite and very professional is sorting out our room cleaning and helping us with general enquiries. Well done to all the Staff they are a credit to Premier Inn Kidlington

I often stay at premier inn for work and really enjoy my stays! The rooms are so quiet and beds are so comfy giving you a great nights sleep! All rooms look the same so when you stay often you get a sense of continuity! Rekha at front desk is so lovely and warm and if you ever need assistance she’s always willing to help!

If you are researching this hotel, please do not be drawn by the location being described as ‘Oxford’ because this is based on an industrial estate on the outskirts of a town to the north of the city. It is amongst offices and looks like an office. It is very corporate. I stayed as I was going to an event near Bicester and wished I’d stayed at Witney or Bicester itself. Even though it was literally a bed for the night, the place just felt soulless. Checking in machines were out of service. The lad on check in was being very patient with a pair of middle aged women who didn’t seem to know what they were doing ……and were more interested in getting a bottle of wine open than helping the poor lad do his job. Aside from that the room aircon couldn’t cool the room, and as the window wouldn’t open it was like an oven. But there’s free parking.

After a long day of travelling from London we had a family christening nearby the hotel so had booked from a while ago to stay as a family with a 7 year old and a 1 year old. We arrived at thr hotel at 9pm-ish we were giving our keys and made out way up to our room with bags, suitcase and our own travel cot (just incase they were short at the hotel) we made our way into our room to see it how the people before had left it. Towels on the floor in the bathroom, 4 beds slept in and unmade and coffee cups around the room. When we made our way to reception to tell the receptionist she said the hotel was fully booked and there were no rooms. She very kindly offered to clean it herself but unfortunately at that time of night with a baby and a 7 year old it was not possible to hang around and wait for her to do so. We then had to drive all the way back to London absolutely exhausted and not happy.
