As it was a cheaper place than average price in Melbourne, I probably should not expect too much but I was surprised they charged a deposit of $100 in advance (normally just hold it) and they said refund it in few days after checking out if nothing is damaged. There is some construction problem that the shower drainage not located right underneath/near the shower head but it closer to the sink and toilet area. Therefore water flooded out towards the toilet which was more than be able to be absorbed with a bath mat towel. I wanted to move shower head face towards the wall but it was wobbly and I didn’t want to touch it in case it may break and be charged a security deposit. This shower and toilet is right next to the bed and there is the frame about 5cm height in between the shower room and the floor of the room to stop the shower water running out towards the room. I hit my toes and almost tipped over several times towards the sink right in front of the door opening. It is very dangerous construction I think.

Stayed 1 night 25th Dec and have stayed at MVV a couple of other times. Room was fine but bathroom is a little weird; water floods out of the shower and no room to put your change of clothes and toiletries. Very noisy from other patrons at midnight and again at 2am. Very disgusted with the large stain on the inside of the Doona, not like you could miss it if you were making the bed.

Was very impressed with the well equipped room, has everything including the kitchen sink literally. Room very clean. Have even washing machines.

Im disabled and was made homeless from a dodgy NDIS provider last wk. I booked 11 nights. Paid in full on the Wednesday. .was told Thursday arvo that I still had 10 days before the warrant could be executed…so booking wasn’t needed. I tried to get a refund, I explained my circumstances but they wouldn’t refund a cent. I walked in the room. Walked out 2min later. Wasted money that I needed. I was happy to forfeit a night and i did give 24hrs notice but no dice.

I was expecting basic housekeeping everyday (including cleatring rubbish bin, tiding bedsheet and towel changing automatically. 

Always easy and quick. Quiet, good value, parking on sites.

Service, location and premises all good, definitely recommended.

The proprietor is very friendly and helpful and cater to our needs. He let us store our luggages in the room way past check out time. The place is also very quiet , peaceful. Easy access to groceries and tramp stop is just by the corner.

Would never stay again - terrible

Good size rooms with all the in room facilities that you could need and in a great location to everywhere， the room was very clean, accommodating staff. comfort bed.

At first glance room looks neat and tidy However waking up in the middle of the night getting eaten alive by bed bugs, would not recommend or stay there again

Ivan, the manager, was very friendly and helpful. Lovely guy! The room is dated, and there were some minor maintenance issues.

Secure free parking which is main reason I was after, great location with all cafes shops around. Bed too soft, average cleanliness and amenities Overall good value of the discounted price for my purpose of short stay
