Gilmore Hotel, Trademark Collection by Wyndham

酒店不新，畢竟有過百年的歷史了。也沒有電梯，總共3層。但前台很熱情周到。在機場打通電話後，從如何過渡輪到幫忙叫出租車，安排得明明白白。出租車是酒店付費的，有點舊，司機是個嘮叨人，一路的自言自語，但問到了還是認真迴應。房間不大，但正對着郵輪碼頭，從窗口看出去風景很美。設施齊全，功能良好。樓梯、走廊上掛滿老照片，多少營造出了些温馨感。

Nice historic hotel situated down in the historic waterfront. Bathroom was recently re-tiled and new flooring in the room. Enjoyed soaking in the refurbished deep, narrow, cast iron bathtub that is likely original to the building. The main drag is quite busy/noisy due to the one bypass road being closed due to the recent landslide. Downtown area gets relaxed when the cruise ships depart in the evening. Staff appear to be all summer hire- not unusual in a corporate run hotel in Alaska with the short summer season, but all nice and friendly folks. Liked the view from the 3rd floor, but if you’re packing large bags realize there’s no elevator. Access to the adjoining bar and restaurant through the lobby which is nice in inclement weather.

The staff at Gilmore worked to help me re-coup a reservation made for the previous evening and swiftly got me into a room while honoring the third-party booking. They turned what could have been a long evening into a relaxing & accomdating experience. The waterview room was lovely and I would highly recommend when in Ketchikan.

I was very impressed with The Gilmore Hotel in Ketchikan. It was comfortable, clean, and extremely convenient. The historical photos and information was a bonus and the complimentary tea/coffee in the sittIng area made for a nice social opportunity with other visitors.

My 13yo daughter and I planned a trip to Ketchikan, AK that included 5 nights at a wilderness cabin on a lake in the Misty Fjords National Monument in the Tongas National Forest with two nights on the front end and two nights on the back end at the Gilmore Hotel in Ketchikan. From when we first started planning our trip and booking our rooms from North Carolina to the time we left the hotel to catch our afternoon flight home, our experience with the Gilmore Hotel management and staff was nothing less than superb! Anthe, the manager, is the most professional, courteous, kind, accommodating and genuinely caring lady I have ever met or had the pleasure of doing business with. And it was crystal clear that she takes care to hire, train and surround herself with people of the same character. Everyone there made us feel very comfortable, safe and welcomed. I am certain that our stay at the Gilmore and how well we were treated was the reason my daughter told me that when she’s old enough, she wants to come back to Ketchikan and live / work there because everyone was so nice! The property and rooms were super well kept, clean and cozy and safe with a charming atmosphere. All making me want to come back. But above all were the people, Anthe, John, Caleb, Tanya and everyone else….. and yes, you too, sweet Lola, that made for an exceptional stay. You will not find nicer people anywhere and it is not hyperbole when I say that world would be a so much better place if there were more people like Anthe and her staff in it. Thank you all so very much for contributing to and being such a special part of our trip of a lifetime! We spent 2 nights in Ketchikan at this historic hotel. Features were in keeping with the hotel. There is a free taxi service you can get to and from the hotel. We used it on the way back to the airport at the end of our stay but we decided to take advantage of the nice weather and walk from the airport to the hotel with our hand luggage. It took just under an hour and our 7yo and 9yo daughters loved it. Hotel room was spacious but the bathroom was on the small side. The door lock didn't work on our door and we told reception. The hotel is in such a great central location

Beautiful historic hotel right in the heart of the Ketchikan downtown district. Comfortable and beautifully appointed. We were right in the middle of the action- watched the cruise ships come in in the mornings and enjoyed the ocean view in the evenings. Great staff! We loved our stay there!

The Gilmore is an old hotel with character. The rooms have been remodeled and are clean and comfortable. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was clean and functional. Be prepared for some noise because the location is near the cruise ships. We slept with the windows open and the fan on which kept the room comfortable, the weather was in the 60s during the day and 50s at night, if the weather is warmer the room might be too toasty. Transportation from the Alaskan Ferry and to the airport was covered by the hotel (not ferry to airport). The folks at the front desk were very friendly and helpful.
