The Grey Swan Inn LLC

We stayed a couple of days on the top floor. Clean comfortable & quiet. There were plenty of snacks & breakfast food & coffee. We highly recommend this Inn. It was like staying at home & Jess was very accommodating. The surrounding area is very quiet and lots of Victorian homes.

Lovely Inn. Very historic. Fully equipped kitchen. Beds are comfy. Air conditioning is cold. Does have quite a few stairs leading to rooms if traveling with disabled ( we weren't). Would definitely stay again.

I have been overcharged for one room. No service they leave cheap stuff for you to eat. All I need to charge My electric car and had to spend the night there. So I have no other choice but to pay the fees. $148

Booked the Grey Swan back in March for $169/night- which is high for Blackstone, VA, but it was inclusive of breakfast and there are limited options in town. By July the Inn was for sale and no breakfast (there was a sign in our room, probably meant to be funny . "Bed and Breakfast, you make both!") We were allowed access to the kitchen to cook for ourselves....but not exactly the same. At all. We were left granola bars and apples in lieu of a full breakfast. Never met the owner or anyone else the entire time we stayed, which was a little creepy, but the quiet was nice. There is a cleaning person who checks in at some point as we were given fresh towels at our request. I asked for a partial refund since this is now basically a just a hotel and we now had to go out and fend for ourselves each morning at our expense....NOPE. I understand sale price is dependent upon revenue but this is bad business. We stayed in room 3. It is in the attic. A lot of space in this particular room. Place is worn but clean and generally maintained. New deck boards outside. Just know there is no owner onsite, few services here, and the house is being to be shown to perspective buyers.
