Er ist gerade von einem zweitägigen Aufenthalt im Hotel mit Arbeit zurückgekehrt. Dieses Hotel ist zentral neben der Bahnhof gelegen. Ein typisches Hotel, das für Trainertouren und Unternehmensarten hält. Mein Zimmer war im Erdgeschoss des Hauptgebäudes. Erstens war das Zimmer durchschnittlich und grundsätzlich. Nicht über zwei Tage serviert? Gummibad matte war fertig und schmutzig auf dem Boden. Das Fenster würde auch nicht geöffnet. Das Hauptproblem war der starke Geruch von Cannabis im Korridor, der während meines Aufenthalts konstant war. Zusätzlich hatte das Zimmer nebenan eine laute Zimmerparty, da es voller östlicher Arbeiter war. Nach Mitternacht ging er jedoch ruhig. Ich würde dieses Hotel nicht empfehlen, es sei denn, Sie auf einem Budget. Premier Inns sind in meiner Meinung weit überlegen. Essen und Trinken : Bier in der Bar ”real ale” war rang ! Essen war ok, aber der Service war langsam zwei Stunden für ein zwei Kurs-Mahl durch. Das Frühstück war gut aber. Die Mitarbeiter waren freundlich überall. Parken ist teuer £15 pro Nacht und nicht sehr sicher.

I'm currently staying at the hotel.i did stay here a number of years ago, and it was a good hotel then.i checked in and went to my room,it was quite dirty throughout. So i went to reception and asked to change to a cleaner room.I then looked at that,it was still dirty.back to reception, again try another room.it had a smell like an open sewer.so back again, at this point I asked to see the manager. What I need to point out is the reception staff and manager were very polite and friendly. I was told its an old building and during rain sometimes the drains back up and cause a smell.i explained the dirtiness of the rooms,stains on carpets and beds,peeling painted walls,and grime along surfaces, you could play noughts and crosses on the surfaces due to the amount of dust and grime.the remote controls were filthy.put you off picking one up.eventually I got a clean room.the manager took me to check it out herself. She was a nice lady who was doing what she could.after that I thought I'd watch a bit of TV.but all the channels had been programmed in the wrong way,just made it vert awkward to find a show.this morning at breakfast I went to restaurant and wanted a cup of coffee.went to machine and no cups,you have to ask to have one brought out.ok then.i ordered some pancakes of menu after 25 minutes 2 dried pancakes were brought out.ok ill have a glass of orange juice,lukewarm .the buffet,o asked for a gork as non at table ,a stained set of cutlery were provided to me.breakfast it's self was fine,no issues there.but overall breakfast experience a let down.at nearly £17 a head it should be better.though mine was part of the room rate.as you read through this review some parts may seem trivial ,possibly so.but it's the fact that when you add up all these small things it gives a overall bad experience. I have stayed a various holiday inns,and this isn't really up there.i was offered 2000 ihg reward points as a gesture from the manager. To put that into context,it costs around 20 000 points for a 1 night stay at a holiday inn. So really you can't do anything with 2000 points.a percentage of the bill would have been more appropriated.i think this hotel needs a major overall, and some of the staff retraining. The positives are the reception staff and manager.

The stay was on my way to Manchester airport. The heater in my first room was not working, but they moved me to another room All was OK with the 2nd room, until I went to use the shower. The head was not working, in as much as it was like using a tap. But overall a great place to stay. I would recommend it, despite the 2 minor issues.

Beautiful location with an incredibly old characteristic building, friendly and helpful staff. Totally enjoyed my stay, if you get the chance to stay here I would highly recommend it. But please remember this is an old building so floorboards creak and doors will slam and walls may not be the thickest. It’s full of character and charm so if you want high end modern, this may not be the place for you. I loved it here and will definitely return

Die Buchung war etwas schmerzhaft, als ich versuchte online zu buchen und es würde nicht bestätigen. Emailed Hotel und nie eine Antwort so neu reserviert. Lage ist neben dem Rennkurs und nur 5 Minuten zu Fuß zu allem Chester hat zu bieten. Gute Parkplätze. Nach 2.00 Uhr war die Eincheckung sehr einfach. Wir hatten ein Zimmer im dritten Stock, das sehr sauber und warm war. Es gab Verkehrslärm von außen, aber das ist zu erwarten. Tee/Kaffee-Herstellungseinrichtungen im Zimmer. Kein Eisen, aber wir hatten unser eigenes mit uns. Gutes Frühstück am Morgen mit etwas für alle. Wir haben in einem anderen Holiday Inn in Chester geblieben und das ist weitaus das beste in Bezug auf Lage, Reinigung und Fabrik des Gebäudes.

We stayed at the Hartford Hall for one night which was way more than enough. The hotel looks really nice from the online pictures and most reviews are pretty positive although I have to wonder if they stayed in the same place as we did. We arrived at the hotel around 4.30pm on a Friday afternoon and waited to checkin at a small booth in the main bar. No one was there but the barman was friendly and told us someone would be with us soon. The guy who checked us in was very friendly and gave us our room key for ”Clotton” room. We made our way through the bar towards an outbuilding which was where the rooms were located along a smelly corridor with filthy carpets. There were lots of dogs in the bar and some very small children (toddlers) just wondering around, it felt like a kennel come creche!! Our room cost £105 breakfast not included, and was quite spacious with a large bed and was nice and warm. But within minutes we could smell a musty damp aroma which was coming from the bathroom. All appeared clean and dry so we turned the bathroom lights on and the extraction fan started. This controlled the smell. We popped down to the bar for some light food as we were going into Northwich for dinner later. We ordered garlic bread with cheese, buttermilk chicken and fries. This small plate selection came to just under £19. The food arrived and the buttermilk batter was burnt, and we are still looking for the cheese that was supposed to be on the garlic bread. The food was really poor and the whole place seemed to be trying to be something that it's not. We came back to the room for a shower and this was when we realised why the room was musty. The shower try is too small and there was no glass screen at the end of the shower so water sprayed everywhere. We had to use all the hand towels to keep the floor dry. It was a real mess. We went out for the evening and came back to the hotel at bang on 11pm and were looking forward to a few drinks. We went to the bar only to be told ”we are closed”!!! So off to bed we went. Our room was right angles to the pub which was located on the very end of the building and parallel to a very busy road. The room had old and ineffective double glazing and so we had constant road noise all night. Neither of us slept and was one of the worst experiences we have had in a hotel. At 8.30am we checked out. We mentioned to the lady who was at the check in desk that we had had an awful night to which she replied ”yes the road is noisy”. We also mentioned that we couldn't get a drink last night and her reply was ”we are a pub with rooms, not a hotel”. We will never eat or stay here again and definitely would not recommend. It's awful.

Ich kam zur Familie in Chester und wählte dieses Hotel, da es nahe der Bahnhof und einen schönen Spaziergang in Chester war. Ich liebe das moderne Aussehen dieses Hotels, das unter dem Bett Auto Licht war brillant für Nacht-Badezimmer-Reise ohne Notwendigkeit, die Lichter zu wechseln. Die schwarzen Gräber machen dort wirklich gut Arbeit ich fast überschlafen, die Mitarbeiter waren sehr hilfreich, als ich sie um Hilfe gebeten. Ich werde hier noch einmal bleiben, wenn ich die Familie besuche

Wir haben einen schönen Aufenthalt und es würde nur ein paar Tweaks dauern, um dieses Hotel besser zu machen. Good: *Es ist in der perfekten Lage, wir nahmen ein Uber in das Zentrum von Chester für weniger als £5. *Das Frühstück wurde mit einer großen Auswahl als Buffetservice entspannt. *Ein geräumiges Zimmer mit allen Einrichtungen, die Sie brauchen. *Viele kostenlose Parkplätze. *Schöne Landschaften und wirklich ruhig in der Nacht. *Großer Wert für Geld Bedürfnisse Verbesserung: *Reinigungsstandard ist durchschnittlich schwarz mold um die Tapeten im Badezimmer, die leicht gelöst werden können. *Der Badezimmerboden war verzweifelt für einen guten Mop *Das Bett war nicht das Komfiest, da 2 Zwillinge zusammen festgehalten, hinterlässt eine Lücke im Mittelpunkt. *Beschäftigungsniveaus, die die Kundendienstniveaus beeinflussen, beschlossen wir, Zimmerservice zu bestellen, dauerte ein Alter, um das Telefon zu beantworten und dann sagte, könnte von der Rezeption gesammelt werden, Art von geht gegen den Punkt des Zimmerservice, so haben wir es verlassen, Nicht groß für die Hotels, wenn das immer passiert. *Kein Barpersonal, wir bestellten Essen, aber es war kalt und ein Essen war nicht das, was wir bestellten, sondern zu hungrig, um zu warten, um es zu ersetzen, offenbar Fischfinger Sandwich ist identisch mit Fisch und Chips wie auch immer nach der Kellnerin! Wie ich sagte, es wird nicht viel dauern, um das Hotel Kundenservicestandards auf ein ausgezeichnetes Niveau zu erhöhen, mehr Mitarbeiter werden die meisten Probleme, trotz allem erwähnt, wir würden wahrscheinlich wieder bleiben.

Wir parkten im Grosvenor Einkaufszentrum (£10 für 24h) durch die Mall zum Hotel. Moderne, frische Design-Rezeption und schön eingerichtete Bar und Restaurant. Schnell Check-in, sauberes Zimmer, komfortable Betten. Waiterin Lelde war am Platz und gab hervorragende Service. Eingeschränkte Menü mit unserem Geheime Escape-Verhandlung, aber für den Preis, den wir gezahlt haben. Zimmer ein wenig heiß/gefüllt, da wir das Fenster nicht öffnen konnten, aber es hatte AC wir wahrscheinlich mit spielen konnten. Frühstück hatte ein heißes Buffet und eine Auswahl an Getreide und Bäckereien, Brot und Gewürze. Kleine kleine Container von über Nacht Oats und frisches Getreide Container waren wirklich schön. Trinkmaschinen versorgt die übliche Latte etc oder andere hatte frische Saft. Ich sah keine Decafe Optionen jedoch. Das Hotel war am Ort, obwohl Chester High Street ist in den Hügel gefahren. Viele Geschäfte auf dem Boden. Die verbleibenden Geschäfte sind Schmuckgeschäfte, Cafés oder ein paar Kleidungsgeschäfte. Scham, dass es keine unabhängigen Geschäfte gibt, die Touristen lieben, um etwas anderes zu suchen. Ich würde empfehlen, wenn wir die Stadt wieder besuchen und ich bin ein ziemlich verrückter Reisende!
