The "L" Suites & Apartments

Excellent location! Very clean rooms! Friendly staff! Delicious breakfast! Highly recommended. Surely, i will visit the L suites and apartments again and again…

There are stunning views from the L suites which is situated a short taxi ride from the town of Argostoli with it's great selection of restaurants, in one direction, and the beautiful beaches of Lassi in the other. Most of the staff at the L suites were pleasant, friendly and helpful, the breakfast and bar areas were clean and pleasant as was the pool which had comfortable sun loungers. The breakfasts were unchanging but adequate. Unfortunately our experience was marred by the attitude of the owner/manager. We arrived late at night due to a flight delay to find the place deserted and no obvious indication anywhere of how to contact the manager. I eventually found a phone number attached to an email and he appeared and showed us to our room. The room that we had booked looked lovely on the website but in reality was shabby, dingy and ill equipped. Other than for bathroom products nothing was provided as complimentary such as tea, coffee or water. There was a fridge, kettle and coffee machine but no cutlery or crockery. There was a hanging rail but nowhere else to unpack clothing. There were no bedside lights for reading and the purple ceiling lights gave the room a sleazy feel. They tiny shower room was not clean. We discussed our concerns with the manager the next day, he was defensive stating that as the rooms were apartments there was no night time reception, he said that we should have looked at the website to find the number to contact him and asked us if we expected a red carpet. He said that we were more concerned with marks on the walls than with the view. He hustled us repeatedly to hire a car even though we hadn't raised the matter of car hire. We declined. As the payment for the week was not refundable, and staying in that room would have been depressing we upgraded for a negotiated additional sum. We were unfortunate in our choice of accommodation but overall the island of Kefalonia is a lovely place to visit.

Lovely stay with nice family owners, Catarina and Stelios, kept bar open late do we could watch euro games, even got us some local honey to take home at last minute. Nice apartment with views down to the port and across lagoon and over to the mountains. Lovely quiet pool area, simple but tasty breakfast and delicious Greek pizza.

We had a 2 week stay with Stelios and Katarina at the 'L Suites & Appartments' and it was absolute heaven. Apart from the beautiful, impeccable and well appointed appartment the views are genuinely breathtaking. I fell in love with the Ionian islands when I first went there, to Corfu, in '77, returning the following summer, and have since holidayed on Lefkas, Zante and 2 days of visits to Kefalonia as well as a week's sailing around the islands on a flotilla of 18 29ft Cobras full of Brits. I've always found something magical about them and, hence, my expectations were extremely high. The L Suites delivered and then some. Before we visited we read about the 'hill' and wondered if it would be a struggle to get to and from Lassi (and Argostoli). We found the walks decent excersise and, frankly, it was easy enough to take the odd breather and admire the views, in shaded areas, on days when our energy levels had been sapped by sunbathing on those excuisite beaches. We stayed in the 'Grand Appartment' and it was amazing. After many days at the stunning local beaches a dip in the cool, private pool, with it's panoramic views over Argostoli and the backdrop of the mountains, was perfection. We spent a number of evenings in the charming chill out area, next to the pool, with drinks and the odd game of three card brag...playing for chickpeas :) . The appartment was well attended and always impeccably clean with fresh towels, for pool, beach and bathroom, provided regularly. We found the location and facilities spot on as we spent three days exploring some of the island's gems at Fiskardo, Sami, Antisamos, Myrtos, White Rocks and Vardiani Island as well as taking the car ferry from Argostoli to Lixouri, Xi beach, Vatsa, Atheras. We found it tough going leaving this morning...and can't wait to return. We were so well looked after...the tips and advice we got from Stelios was invaluable and helped make our holiday so enjoyable. We experienced an authentic care given in a friendly and sincere way which really made us feel hugely welcome. Thank you so much for everything...we will see you again ❤️. Gav, Julie, Sam & Grace 😊

Beautiful hotel with amazing views. The breakfast and pizza is delicious. The manager and staff are wonderful and they make your holiday very special. Rooms are modern and comfortable with fridge, kettle and coffee machine. Lots of advice to be had from Stellios who prides himself with his very high standards. Friendly, caring and approachable.

Absolutely beautiful. Manager a gentleman who has real passion about his accomodation. Would highly recommend L-suites 100’/, Rooms are beautiful and the view is amazing. Lots of lovely walks around hotel. Had an awesome massage at the hotel. Food delicious. A little gem in paradise
