Location, location, location! KC Castle is centrally located, just south of Downtown KC. Nestled in a neighborhood of historic and ultra modern homes. You can be anywhere downtown in less than five minutes. Think Old World charm meets downtown Loft. Designed to entertain inside (Chef's Kitchen) or outdoors. Huge fenced yard, amazing garden, and plenty of off-street parking. This remarkable home stands 3 and a half stories tall and has an open floor plan. From the third-floor cupula, you can actually see the Kansas City skyline. Inside features an open floor plan, gourmet kitchen, large master suite, bedrooms 2 and 3 share a Hollywood bath. The finished lower level has a movie room and a 4th bedroom with bathroom en-suite. Upstairs, a spiral staircase leads to a kid's Loft bedroom (unofficially bedroom 5). In order to accommodate our multi-generational families (in 2025) we have added a pull-out Queen sleeper sofa in the living room and converted the 1/2 bath on the main level to a full bath with a walk-in shower. The beds are as follows: Master BR - KING Bedroom 2 - KING Bedroom 3 - Queen Bedroom 4 - Queen Bedroom 5 - Queen and Full Livingroom - Pull out Sofa w/ Queen bed for Elderly (grand) parents (NEW in 2025) for main level / 1st floor sleeping Total = Two Kings, Three queens, One Sleeper sofa queen, One Full size. Outside there is a beautiful garden, large sun deck, private rear patio, and two balconies off the 2nd floor master suite. Not only is the huge yard fenced with wrought iron it has a nice playground. It was a great house for our large party. We had plenty of space. Kitchen amenities were great and we loved the 4th full bathroom in the man floor. Only odd thing is that you can see through the cool old pine floors on the 2nd floor right down to the main floor…..and you can hear everything. Might think think twice about using the master bath toilet that’s right over the dining area.

We stayed at the Castle as our son was getting married at a venue close by. We Loved the whole experience. We had family that could stop by and gather, the Groom and his Groomsmen got ready at the Castle the morning of the wedding, and some awesome photos were taken. Even though we live in Western Lenexa, we have already decided we will stay again for a Staycation soon. Also, loved that there was a Christmas tree up, made the whole holiday experience and festiveness of the wedding even better!

Great home for family gatherings. The host is very responsive and the location in KC gives quick access to all areas of town. We spent Christmas there with our family and had a wonderful time.

Great location for downtown sporting events Great location for Big 12 basketball tournament. Large home for three adults on a buddy basketball trip. Home had decent amenities. comfortable bedrooms and beds. Overall not quite as nice as photos made it look, especially outdoor areas. We would rent it again.

Location, location, location! KC Castle is centrally located, just south of Downtown KC. Nestled in a neighborhood of historic and ultra modern homes. You can be anywhere downtown in less than five minutes. Think Old World charm meets downtown Loft. Designed to entertain inside (Chef's Kitchen) or outdoors. Huge fenced yard, amazing garden, and plenty of off-street parking. This remarkable home stands 3 and a half stories tall and has an open floor plan. From the third-floor cupula, you can actually see the Kansas City skyline.
Inside features an open floor plan, gourmet kitchen, large master suite, bedrooms 2 and 3 share a Hollywood bath. The finished lower level has a movie room and a 4th bedroom with bathroom en-suite. Upstairs, a spiral staircase leads to a kid's Loft bedroom (unofficially bedroom 5).
