Ein typisches kleines und sehr schönes Hotel am Meer. Die Leistung ist von 4 Sternen. Das Team ist top, die Küche ist verschieden, sorgfältig. Das Hotel ist ideal zwischen Nord und Süd gelegen. Man kann mit einem typischen Boot kostenlos in ein Hotel direkt vorne reisen, indem man den Golf durchquert. Der Strand ist schöner, aber das Hotel ist viel größer und daher nicht, was man überhaupt nicht suchte, also keine Bedauern. L’ambiance et l’animation sont adaptées à la taille de l’hôtel, proche de ses clients et agréable. Ja, es gab einige Stromausfälle, und dann sind wir zu zanzibar... und ehrlich gesagt sind wir mit einigen negativen früheren Kommentaren nicht einverstanden. Ja l'hôtel n'est pas sur la plus belle plage de zanzibar, mais quand on se localise sur la carte on voit où il se situe et donc libre à tout le monde de choisir soit un hôtel plus grand, moins humain et moins typique ou celui-ci! Nossa hospedagem no Le Mersenne foi espetacular! A começar pelo horário em que chegamos: 4 AM e fomos recebidos não apenas com cordialidade, masacima de tudo com muito carinho pela funcionária da recepção que foi breve nas explanações sobre o hotel, atenta ao nosso cansaço. Chegando no quarto, tuo estava impecável. Ar condicionado ligado e frigobar abastecido. Os quartos são muito bem decorados e com estrutura completa: cama king, 2 cubas, banheira, cafeteira, chaleira, amenities de primeiríssima qualidade, roupas de cama macias, excelentes travesseiros, excelente chuveiro, sacada, armário espaçoso, bancada de trabalho e uma varanda deliciosa. Além disso, o atendimento é impecável. Funcionários simpáticos, dedicados, sempre atentos, rápidos, dispostos ajudar e adoram conversar. Destaque para o chef indiano do restaurante La Mer, que no café da manhã veio até nossa mesa saber se estava tudo bem e se precisávamos de mais alguma coisa, e comentei que eu gostava muito de ovos mexidos com queijo de cabra (item este que não tinha no café). Ele não só trouxe o queijo para acompanhar meus ovos mexidos, como trouxe uma peça enorme de queijo de cabra em uma embalagem para eu levar para aperitivar no quarto. So Lovely! Comida excelente! Boa carta de vinhos! Room service muito rápido. Limpeza impecável. Ambientes estilosos. A água do frigobar é cortesia e deixam em grande quantidade, o que é uma raridade em hotéis. Ganharam mil pontos comigo neste sentido! O gerente do hotel, Michael é um gentleman. Comentei que eu era agente de viagens e ele prontamente nos levou para conhecer os bangalos over water e também me ajudou a pontuar a estadia no programa de fidelidade da rede. A piscina de borda infinita para o mar é um deleite. À noite tem dj no bar e jantares maravilhosos no rooftop com preços mais maravilhosos ainda. Comemos um camarão gigante (que mais parecia uma lagosta) com buffet de salada e acompanhamentos por USD 10. O café da manhã é de cinema, com opções para todos os gostos e estilos alimentares. Um resort enxuto, lindo e funcional. O único ponto negativo é que não possui faixa de areia. Mas Zanzibar é para passear, o que não interferiu em nada na qualidade de nossa hospedagem. Voltaria mil vezes! Nota 11 !!!!

Globalement d'accord avec les plus et moins de l'avis précédent, mais je trouve la note trop sévère... La piscine mériterait un peu plus d'entretien, c'est vrai. Les cocktails sont bien tassés, mais on en a pour son argent. L'attente au restaurant est très longue, mais c'est une constante à Zanzibar. La viande est coriace... Mais le cadre est magnifique. Et surtout, le personnel est vraiment sympa et mérite un 4/5

Room not quite a 4 star but everything else YEA Staff: very nice, sometimes there is a language barrier but if you take the time to explain and help them understand they are extremely helpful and kind - don’t agree with any negative reviews on staff I think those people just didn’t bother to try and communicate better if they ever felt staff were not so good. Room: it’s big but very basic, small TV but I don’t watch TV on holiday so I don’t care. It’s clean and well kept. It’s not a 4 star room in my opinion but it was nice enough. Bed wasn’t the most comfy but I had a decent sleep most nights The only thing that really annoyed me was there is no WIFI in the rooms. So everyone sits around pool, reception, lounge area for WIFI. It some ways it’s a good thing as it makes you not be in the phone all the time, but I needed to use my phone so it was a nuisance. Luckily the staff took me to the local shop and got me a SIM card with data for me to use throughout my time. I paid £35 for a sim and data that lasted me more than 2 weeks Food: I don’t do buffet food so I don’t do all inclusive so I can’t tell you what it tastes like but I did have a look and it wasn’t my cup of tea. The restaurant is nice enough. My first meal wasn’t great but I spoke to a chef and the waitresses and made my requests more clear and the dishes that followed were much better. The chef clearly listens so that’s good Entertainment: I go out of the hotel everyday so i don’t have much experience but I think that they had a show or musical entertainment every night from 8ish till 11pm. It seemed nice. Dance shows, karaoke, massei tribe show and other stuff. Location: for me it was perfect, it’s not busy as there’s not much hotels nearby so you don’t see hundreds of tourists BUT all excursions are like 45 min - 1 hour away. I don’t mind that but I know some people will mind. The beach is nice when the tide is good. It’s a very beautiful beach Local people are super nice and helpful. It’s VERY SAFE The restaurant has an outdoor seating area so you can sit and eat basically on the beach which is very beautiful - this is 4 star for sure! Hotel also has a VERY GOOD salon for massages and hair. It’s good price and the staff are really nice and good at what they do. If you book excursions with the hotel, the guy Hasim gives good prices compared to some companies. You go either others from the hotel and it’s very organised - the hotel mainly uses flash tours and flash tours were really good in my opinion. I did some excursions privately with locals as I prefer to be alone for some of them so I get a better experience. The beach is not crowded (I went sep 2023) so it’s so nice to relax and enjoy without getting the whole annoying overcrowded hotel feel. Overall I would say it’s not quite a 4 star… but I think it could be with a few touches up in the room and around the pool. I would recommend this hotel and I would stay here again.
