Located in a good part of town, many shops around. Refurbished room. Outstanding breakfasts! An all-around excellent value.

Well located hotel, however, cleanliness could be improved. Water pressure on bathroom is low.

部屋は広くて立地も良いです。しかし、部屋がタバコ臭い、エアコンから水が落ちる、小さなゴキブリを10匹くらい見ました。朝食はおいしかったです。朝食時に提供されるコーヒーとお茶は無料ですが、夫が知らずにアメリカーノと注文してしまい、チェックアウト時に2杯分請求されました。

I had the pleasure of staying at Timber House Hotel, and I must say the hospitality was truly outstanding. A special mention goes to the gentleman in the restaurant area during morning breakfast. My bad I forget his name he even ask me about my head aches issue I previously mentioned thanks His attentiveness, warm demeanor, and friendly service added a delightful start to each day. And thanks to the hero dai all the way from the reception thankyou so much for everything ❤️ keep smiling

Had a great time at timber house , located at the prime location of thamel , easily accessible. Reasonable price & friendly staff. Loved their special momo in crème sauce. Will surely visit next time. Personally I felt very reasonable at that price.

The Timber House is a well run mid range hotel close to Thamel within walking distance of some of Kathmandu's heritage areas. The staff are excellent and were very helpful and keen to assist. The room was comfortable and clean with a hot shower and tea making facilities. It was lovely to return to this hotel after our trek in the Khumbu region. It was our haven in the noise and chaos of Kathmandu! The meals were great as well. Thoroughly recommended.

Good hotel in its class offering good accommodation at reasonable price. Very comfortably located close to the major attractions as well as restaurants and places of entertainment. Good breakfast included. Very positive addition is the transfer from the airport and to the airport. And the reception personnel was very competent, friendly, professional and helpful.

A beautiful and immaculate boutique style hotel right in the heart of Kathmandu with a relaxing and welcoming bar lounge and dining area. The staff are absolutely delightful. The rooms are clean, modern and spacious. A hidden gem. We look forward to future stays here.

A very comfortable , new, clean hotel which is located centrally in thamel and has enough parking space for private transport . The staffs are friendly . Stayed for many nights during recent trip and was very good

Good and comfortable rooms. Good location. Friendly and cooperative staff. Clean and affordable. The location of the hotel is in very close proximity to main market if Thamel. Many tourist places are nearby only. Just make sure to clear everything before check-in / check-out.

Timber House is in a excellent location - right in the heart of Kathmandu. I stayed for 3 nights, and arranged a hiking trip through the hotel via it's sister company Himalayan 360. I was very impressed with the quality of the rooms, the friendliness of the staff and the well organized and good value hiking trip. Would recommend to everyone and would definitely stay here again!

I will like to thank Mr. Kumar thapa bhai, Anjana and Team. They were very friendly and helpful, even they provided me a suite room. The room was very pleasant, it was cozy and clean. Breakfast was excellent and incredibly varied. Will visit again!!

Stayed for two nights. Overall a comfortable place to stay and a very good value. Located about 1 km from Durbar Square (although it's not an easy walk due to crazy traffic and lack of sidewalks) with many restaurants and stores nearby. There is no elevator. The staff helps with luggage, however if you are on the top floor there are three flights of stairs. It wasn't a problem for me, however it may be for someone. Spacious room with comfortable bed and pillows. Plenty of electrical outlets, which fit multiple kinds of plugs (European, UK and US). Well lit desk area. Bathroom with plenty of hot water, usually with very good pressure, although water temperature is sometimes difficult to adjust. The water from the sink faucet had a slight brown discoloration, visible when filling a cup. The hotel provides two liters of bottled water a day. Room amenities include an electric kettle with coffee and tea packets, and a laptop-size safe. Breakfast is included. It is supposedly served from 08:00 to 10:00, but it usually starts later. Wifi worked well. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Their sister company Himalayan 360 can organize tours and activities.

I recently visited timber house and had a wonderful experience. The food was absolutely delicious, especially the momos and dal bhat. The hospitality was also top-notch - the staff especially were friendly especially hari maharjan was very attentive, and made us feel very welcome. The hotel was clean and well-maintained. I would highly recommend for anyone looking for authentic excellent hospitality. I give them five stars.
