This is a really nice park. Staff are always friendly and helpful. Pools are clean, water is cool and refreshing. Cabin we have is perfect for us. Bed is comfortable. Savannah bar and restaurant looks great. We haven't eaten there yet, but the food looks great. Ensuite for our cavin is a good size and very handy.

Lovely motel with good basic clean rooms. Close to Katherine club for lunch/dinner. Laundry facilities. Clean bathroom with bathroom amenities supplied. Fridge in room. Comfortable bed, clean sheets. We would have liked to have dinner at the motel's restaurant but unfortunately it was closed due to renovations.

Sehr schöner und ruhiger Park. Große Lage, geliebt, direkt aus der Rückseite des Grundstücks zu den herrlichen heißen Quellen (nur einen 5-10 Minuten zu Fuß) und ein wenig aus dem Stadtzentrum, so dass keine Parkplätze oder Lärmprobleme. Freundliche Service bei der Rezeption sowohl für Ein- als auch Auscheck (Dee ist wunderschön). Wir hatten eine Standard-Ensuite-Kabine, die komfortabel war, aber datiert, sicherlich ein wenig Wartungsarbeiten (Holztüren rotieren, Löcher in Wänden, schmutzige Gräben, um ein paar Dinge zu nennen). Das Doppelbett war überraschend komfortabel und die Kabine war für uns beide geräumig genug. Es war schön und cool, als wir ankamen, da jemand die Voraussicht hatte, die Klimaanlage für uns aufzulegen, was sehr geschätzt wurde. Handy-Kitchen und Kücheneinrichtungen in der Kabine mit einem vollen Kühlschrank. Die Kabinen scheinen gut geräuschbeständig zu sein, da wir direkt in der Nähe des Gemeinde-BBQ-Bereichs gelegen waren, aber nichts hörten, obwohl es mehrere Leute waren und die Leute in der Kabine neben uns waren draußen zu trinken bis ziemlich spät. Der Preis war für dieses Jahr vernünftig (die höchste Trockensaison, obwohl es noch heiß war), aber nicht erstaunlich, dass der Preis wieder außerhalb der Spitzensaison gezahlt wird. Wir waren froh mit dem Service und der Unterkunft und würden wieder bleiben.

I stopped off in Katherine for two nights at the K Town and so glad I did. It has been newly renovated and everything is new and fresh. Thanks to Hasan and the team for the warm welcome. Lovely comfy bed and pillows, and most excellent fans and refrigerated air conditioners. Also, a large fridge, microwave, kettle and Dilmah tea bags, and a huge television with Netflix, You Tube and ABC news. After highway travel and cruising Nitmiluk Gorge (25kms down the same road) it was a joy to relax and watch a decent television with lovely air conditioning. K Town is very close to all shops and cafes so dinner and lunch was simple. On my second night there (10 Jan 2023) , at 03:17am the entire NT was rocked by a 7.7 magnitude earthquake. I was woken up by the fan clanking and the windows bellowing back and forth. The hotel was shaking and the ground was shaking for almost three minutes, which felt like an eternity. Hundreds of birds flew into the sky from the huge trees opposite and dogs were barking all over town. All guests were in the car park. Luckily, there was no damage and this good little hotel held its ground. I held onto the white verandah outside, upstairs, and again I could feel the cool white floor under my feet. By time the earthquake had subsided I was still shaking but again it was the lovely coolness of the white floors that kept me cool and grounded. Funny how these memories are made, and for that reason I will be back for a future visit when I'm next in this interesting town. Thank you to Hasan and the team.
