This is a stunning property and all around excellent place to stay with one caveat. The amenities are excellent, the grounds tranquil and gorgeous. The library was a nice place to chill, has snacks all day, whisky an sake/champagne in the evening to enjoy a nightcap, special little treats outside in the garden etc. The onsen was magic and the nature trail to connect you to the forest and surrounding areas was delightful. The staff was incredible, attentive, and kind. Anything we needed they happily accommodated. We had a treatment at the spa And the kaiseki dinner with sake pairing which were both lovely and worth the expense. But the rooms may not live up to your expectations. We rented a junior maisonette for our family of four. While what is pictured on the website is lovely and inviting, what we got was a two story townhouse in the middle of a three-plex that felt a little old, was at the edge of the property, and faced a road that was hidden by a tall fence. Had I know this is what I was getting I would have definitely chosen differently and probably not stayed here. Because for as expensive this property is I expected the actual room to be far superior than what it was. But if you can secure one of the better rooms on the water then I say go for it.

The breakfast buffet was impressive, beautifully arranged and delicious. It was the nicest breakfast buffet I’d ever seen. The restaurant staff were really nice. Hotel offered a complimentary “shuttle service” which is a ride in two really nice Mercedes cars. This service is just to certain spots. Drivers spoke good English and were really nice. The reception staff was a bit of hid and miss, some spoke good enough English and some were considerably better. They were never rude but maybe not as friendly as in other places we stayed. The rooms were really nice and comfortable. They had special amenities for children and super cute pjs. It is a really nice boutique hotel.

The front desk 竹村, on June 18th 10:50, she told us there’s no pick up service after check out (there is), without offering any assistance to deliver our bags to the station. We feel that the staffs are poorly trained when it comes to the hotel facility nor their communication skills. The hotel itself is highly enjoyable especially the hot spring! Everything is brand new and the surroundings are epic! I’m sorry to have to minus one star because of 竹村’s poor reaction to customers’ requests.

Unser Aufenthalt im Hotel war großartig! Das Mitglied von Marriott Bonvoy hat uns eine nette Erhöhung für unser Zimmer ermöglicht. Das Personal an der Stelle sprach Englisch sehr gut. Das Zimmer war sehr ordentlich und geräumig. Auch dieses Marriott war eines der wenigen Hotels, die ich zu diesem war, hatte das Zimmer allergie bereit, als ich ihnen sagte, ich war allergisch gegen Füße auf der Buchung. Die kostenlosen Getränke (Bier, Wein, Cocktails, Saft und Soda) und die heißen Mahlzeiten während der Mitgliedschaftssalon waren nett. Das öffentliche Bad war sehr sauber und entspannend. Das Managementteam ging oben und darüber! Wir baten den Türmeister, einen Taxi zu bauen, um in ein lokales Restaurant zu kommen. Stattdessen arbeitete er mit dem Assistentenmanager, der uns sagte, er würde uns persönlich zum Restaurant führen (einschließlich einer Rückreise!) Das Frühstücksbuffet war ausgezeichnet und hatte sowohl amerikanische als auch japanische Preise. Ich empfehle dieses Hotel an jeden meiner Freunde oder Familie, die das Gebiet besuchen.

In der zweistöckigen Villa gibt es drei Zimmer, von denen eines mit vier Betten und das andere mit zwei Betten ausgestattet ist. Jedes Zimmer verfügt über eine Badewanne. Die heiße Quelle im Freien im Zimmer ist sehr klein und kann nur eine Person beherbergen, aber das Badezimmer verfügt über einen großen Whirlpool und einen Fernseher. Der Urlaub ist wirklich toll. Das Skigebiet ist ganz in der Nähe und man kann schon mit drei Jahren spielen. Aolai hat ein paar große Namen, die immer noch teuer sind. Der Sukiyaki Pot und Teppanyaki im Hotel sind großartig. Wenn Sie Kinder mitbringen, ist es besser geeignet als Hoshino, und Hoshino Hot Spring kann nicht gehen. Die heiße Quelle im Hotel ist schon sehr gut. Es gibt einen großen Supermarkt, Delice, der mit dem Taxi in 15 Minuten erreichbar ist. Sie können Dinge kaufen und im Zimmer kochen. Das Kochen im Zimmer ist sehr praktisch. Der Kellner kann das Geschirr spülen. Es ist perfekt.

Das günstigste Hotel ist zwar mittelpreislich, aber die Qualität ist ein luxuriöses Hotel, so musst du eine Nacht zuerst übernachten und sehr zufrieden! Schreiben Sie später Verbesserungen, aber weil es etwas kleines ist, musst du nicht zögern, das Niveau des Aufenthalts zu behalten. Die erste ist, dass es keine Einrichtungen gibt, insbesondere keine Chemiewasser- und Körpermahlsysteme. Da es der jüngste Strom gibt, kann ich nicht, aber ich finde es besser. Die zweite ist, dass es warm ist, die Einrichtungen und die Atmosphäre sind großartig, aber der Wasserfluss im Schrank ist sehr stark, langsam sitzen ... Das ist schwer. Sie wurden abgehauen. Das Personal ist perfekt, wenn es einen weiteren Schritt von einem enthusiastischen Gastgeber gibt. Wenn es so geschult ist wie Kay, dann denke ich, dass es auch 20 Prozent an den Preis wert ist.

With stunning architecture by Shigeru Ban (who designed House 1 and 2), this stylish small hotel has interesting spaces filled with contemporary art. My family took 3 rooms in Villa A of House 2 which gave us a private kitchenette and small seating area, with access to a beautiful communal room and library. It's a couple of minutes' walk to House 1 with the gorgeous restaurant that merges the indoor with outdoor. The restaurant offers a good breakfast and a la carte lunches/dinners. We chose the omakase dinner one evening and it was creative and excellent. The staff members are fantastic - friendly and helpful, especially the knowledgeable and wonderful General Manager Ogihara-san who went out of his way to personally take us to the oldest ramen restaurant in Karuizawa and the volcano park. We enjoyed our stay very much. The hotel recently added House 3 which is also stunning. There's quite a bit to do in the area - hikes, waterfall, onsen etc., so we are already planning our next trip. A great escape in the summer from the blazing heat of Tokyo, and I hear it's amazing in the snowy winter too.

My cottage 830 is very inconvenient. On 8 and 9 Nov 2023, it is completely dark after 17:00 pm. On arrival at Karuizawa Station, I need to go to the Prince Shopping Plaza and take the free shuttle bus to the hotel front office. After checking in, I need to get a ticket and wait for the shuttle to take me to my room. There is free cottage shuttle every 15 minutes to take guests to the hotel front office. In that building, there are restaurants and a convenient shop.

Ich genossen wirklich meinen Aufenthalt in diesem brandneuen Hotel. Obwohl es seit einigen Monaten offen ist, haben sie alles ohne Spott gehalten. Die Lobby mit offenem Feuer ist schön und ein komfortables Gebiet, um einen Drink und Entspannung zu haben. Das Zimmer selbst war auch unglaublich sauber und alles funktionierte gut, einschließlich des WLANs. Die Handjacken waren in den Farben der ukrainischen Flagge, die ein schöner Touch war. Das Frühstück war gut, wie das Restaurant am Abend. Das öffentliche Bad war ein schöner Ort, nach dem Abendessen zu sugen. Service war gut, obwohl es klar ist, dass das Team neu und noch trainiert war - ich bin sicher, dass sich dies in der Zeit ändern wird. Kleine Kritik ist es gab kein Zimmerservicemenü im Zimmer. Das war gut, wie es im Fernsehen war, aber das Navigieren auf das Menü brauchte japanische Fähigkeiten. Architektur und allgemeines Design sind fantastisch, wie die Ausstattung und die Teppiche sind nur schön - wie alle neuen IGG Eigenschaften, denke ich.

The hotel is just a 5 minute walk from Karuizawa station. Take the north exit on the bridge/walkway after coming up from Shinkansen platform, it's the left. There's a tourist info with helpful people at the end of the corridor, and an escalator next to it. Once you come out, with your back to the station, walk straight down the road, and take left at the first traffic light, near the Shell station. The hotel is opposite Family Mart. Staff are friendly and helpful. Room was generous-sized with an ante-room which has a fridge, some storage cupboards and the main room is nice and big with a good-sized bed. They provide 2 bottles of water. You can take day trips to Naka Karuizawa, Shiraiito Falls among other destinations using the bus service outside the station. It's a lot easier if you have Suica card or you will need to carry many 1000 yen notes. On the way back you can you can stop off at Kyu Karuizawa and walk the streets of Old Ginza. It can also be reached by foot, takes about 25-30 minutes.
