We stayed at Karuizawa. The accommodation was reasonably priced and comfortable. They have various room types, but we chose a ryokan-style room which involved sharing a bathroom, but there were plenty of facilities and it was very convenient. Regular rooms also have private bathrooms. It's conveniently located for walking to nearby attractions. The only thing we didn't have was hot water. They actually have an onsen (hot spring), which would have been perfect if it had hot water especially with the single-digit temperatures like that, I highly recommend it to anyone interested.

This was one of the worst accommodations I have ever experienced. We arrived at the property at around 10PM+, and due to the late timing, we had no choice but to stay, even after realizing the conditions were unacceptable. Finding alternative accommodation at that hour was not possible, which made the situation even more frustrating. The house felt like it had not been maintained for a very long time. There was dust everywhere and visible spiderwebs, making the entire place feel dirty and neglected. On top of that, there was no hot water at all, so we couldn’t even shower during our stay. The house was also freezing cold with no proper heating, which made the experience extremely uncomfortable. These are basic necessities and should never be missing. There was also no proper service or assistance available. It felt like no one was managing the property, and we had no support when issues occurred. What is even more disappointing is that despite all these serious problems, we were only offered RM44 compensation, which is completely unreasonable. Not being able to shower, stay warm, and having to endure such poor conditions is not a minor issue. Overall, this stay was a terrible experience and not worth the money at all. It ruined part of our trip. Strongly do NOT recommend. Avoid at all costs.

This was one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had, and it made me absolutely furious. I checked in at night and the room was freezing cold. The heater was completely useless — even after running it for a long time, the room never warmed up. The shared bathroom had NO heating and NO hot water at all. This is not just uncomfortable, it is unacceptable and irresponsible, especially in cold weather. The temperature was so low that even wearing a thick down jacket inside the room did not help. I was forced to sit in my own car just to avoid freezing. Under these conditions, I contacted the booking platform to cancel the stay, but the hotel did not answer any phone calls and outright refused to cancel the reservation. What happened next was even more outrageous. After deciding to endure one night since I could not get a refund, I returned to the hotel only to find that I COULD NOT ENTER THE BUILDING AT ALL. The main entrance was locked. I repeatedly contacted hotel management — messages were seen but deliberately ignored. I was left standing outside in the freezing wind for over half an hour, like a homeless person, until a staff member happened to arrive for a night patrol and finally let me in. This hotel failed at the most basic level: ❌ No heating ❌ No hot water ❌ No access to the building ❌ No communication ❌ No responsibility toward guests This is not a hotel, it is a joke. Staying here in winter is unsafe, inhumane, and a complete waste of money. Avoid this place at all costs. I strongly warn anyone considering staying here — DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL.

12月到輕井沢滑雪，位置不錯，10分鐘車程到滑雪場。房間大小適中，但最大的問題是天氣嚴寒，房間的空調暖氣是失效的，房間內的氣温就如室外般寒冷。 入住當天上午仍未有大門密碼及房間密碼，要主動詢問才會答覆。

お湯がでない。 対応してください。とお願いし、対応します。と連絡があったが何も変わらず。 朝もお湯でずで、水で洗いました。 Wi-Fiも電波が遠くつながりませんでした。

服務社會好、衞生乾淨整潔。
