Hotels mit Frühstück in Karo Regency

The hotel is busy building, and the corridors are very noisy. The room and bathroom were OK, however in one of the rooms we had the sheets on the bed were probably not clean as they had big stains on it. The include breakfast is a dissapointment. First night we had diner at the hotels' restaurant; cold rice and cold egg for a price far to high. A complaint in the kitchen brought warm rice and fresh warm egg. Second night a espresso resulted in a rat running through our feet at the top level of the restaurant . So in short a bad hotel experience in Berastagi, we neder go thee again.

Dieser Ort wurde von einem Freund empfohlen, und obwohl es etwas über unseren Haushalt war, gingen wir hin und reservierten es trotzdem. Wir reisen als Gruppe und nahmen 10 Zimmer. Die Zimmer waren sehr sauber, aber sie waren zu dünnen, in einigen Zimmern waren die Wasserheizgeräte nicht richtig funktioniert, die Ketten waren in schlechtem Zustand. Alle Möbel waren schön handgefertigt, aber alle waren zu niedrig, dass sie nicht wirklich komfortabel waren. Einige Betten waren nicht in guter Form. Das komplimentäre Frühstück könnte viel besser sein, vielleicht wie die Zugabe lokaler Früchte an die Auswahl (wir bezahlten 500k-750k pro Zimmer). Die Eigentümer’ Potraits in den Gästezimmern war ein wenig Eerie 😅. Der Service war jedoch außergewöhnlich gut, der Manager war super freundlich.

Have stayed several times at this hotel, as it is one of the best hotel at Brastagi. But this time got a very bad experience. Going on weekday to avoid the crowd on weekend, but yet hotel is fulfilled with so many bunchs of group from government. All of the surroundings from once you step into the hotel till the way you get into your room are fulfiled with the smell of their cigarattes that make the air is not refreshing. It really gives a feeling like you are entering and staying at a hostel instead of a 4-5* hotel. Even they dare to smoke in the non-smoking breakfast area and no staff concerned. Staying at super-deluxe which is newly renovated, turns out having itchy skin on both hands and legs coz of the cleanliness of the bed sheet. Dunno its a bed-bugs or not, but there are some snacks residue and stain on the bed. Cleaning staff must be improved! They even forgot to refill the tea/coffee sachets and i have to ask it from reception. Really cannot enjoy the night.. the groups are having a party at the azalea with so large speaker sound till late midnight. Hotel should consider the other guests especialy those staying with elderly or infant. Can you imagine till 2am and still so noisy! Ohmygod.. my baby cannot sleep well and cranky all the nights. Hotel should not give permissions to use the hall till so late and disturb other guests. This is really unfair..we also pay for our stay! Super Deluxe room is so damn hot. Turn on the ceiling fan, and dust from the fan fell down to bed. Ohmygod, complete! Hot+Noisy and also can hear other baby was crying from another room..This group really did a good job on spoiling the holiday of the rest of the hotel guests. Mikie Holiday should re-manage group rules, despite it comes from government or public.

Wir kamen zu Sapo Karo, verbrachten nur eine Nacht im Hotel, aber können nur sehr empfehlen, dort zu bleiben. Die Zimmer sind einfach, aber wir fanden unsere sauber, ruhig und mit einer heißen Dusche. Was unseren Aufenthalt außergewöhnlich machte, war Edwin, der Pflegeperson des Hotels und von diesem Weg unserem Führer bis zum Berg Sibayak am Morgen. Es war wirklich außergewöhnlich, wie viel Zeit er dauerte, um uns zu zeigen: zuerst zu Mt Sibayak und die heißen Frühlinge, dann die nördliche Küste des Toba-Sees und dann sogar zurück, um unseren Flug in Medan am Abend zu bekommen. Während unserer Zeit in Indonesien fanden wir kaum einen freundlicheren, authentischen und sorgfältigeren Führer, der wir nicht einmal als Führer, sondern als inspirierender und schöner Mensch mit den besten Gesprächen und einem schönen Humor trafen. Danke Edwin, es war für uns eine Freude und wir werden wieder in Sapo Karo sein, wenn wir hoffentlich bald wieder Sumatra besuchen! Linda und Patrick

Ich habe es zum zweiten Mal verwendet, als ich nach Brastagi reiste. Es befindet sich in einem schönen Ort der Landschaft, das Essen ist sehr lecker und viele Touristen sind voll. Eines, was ich fürchte, ist, dass das gesamte Gebäude klimatisiert ist, also es gibt keine Fernbedienung im Zimmer. Die Tagesordnung des nächsten Tages hat sich plötzlich geändert, und ich musste sie abbrechen, aber wenn ich die Chance habe, möchte ich sie nochmal verwenden. (Es ist sehr hilfreich, am nächsten Tag zu dem Ziel zu fahren. Vielen Dank.)

Großes Blick auf den See und Lage außer dem Resort sah angesichts des Alters etwas müde aus. Wir hatten mehrere Zimmer und einer von ihnen die Toilettenschale konnte nicht fluss. Dampfboot Abendessen und Frühstück hatten gute Varianten. Die Einrichtungen wurden nur in der Nacht vom Karaoke entfernt, seit die meisten geschlossen um 5 Uhr und Wochentagen. Massage-Slots waren begrenzt.

The hotel should just be downgraded to a 2 star hotel. It's so bad in every aspect that I didn't know where to start. It's a disappointment. We booked 5 rooms, and out of 5, 4 rooms had issues. 1 room has mouldy smell so bad that from the outside of the room we can already smell. The other 3 have cockroach issues, there is a dead cockroach lying on top of the bed. We inform the receptionist regarding this issue and none of them apologize for this, they only put air freshener in the room. But then, even after housekeeping, the cockroach is still lying on top of the bed. Wasting of my time to go for another complaint if there is no job done. This should not happen in a 4 star hotel. Then, the shower is broken, we need to modify ourselves so that we can shower. They only provide 1 pillow. There are other 3 star hotels that provide 2 pillows without request. One of the bedsheets is torn. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone. Wifi is not available in the room. Limited connectivity. I paid extra money to change from a 3 star hotel to this hotel, and its not worth it at all. I paid extra for worst service.

No Wi-Fi. Nearby there is a villa where young people sing karaoke and play the guitar every day, sometimes until 1-2 am, this makes it difficult to sleep. I hope the situation will change. Beautiful view from the second floor (take a room on the second) of the volcano. For a short stay this is a good place.
