Das Zimmer ist sehr groß, neben dem Hotel gibt es einen kleinen Schrank, der entlang des Flusses laufen kann. Es gibt kostenloses Frühstück und Parkplatz, die Autobahn und Costco sind auch relativ nah und bequem zu reisen.

Stayed here recently for a conference; requested and received Suite Night Upgrade to the Presidental Suite! WOW! Now, the hotel and surrounding area had been without power for the previous 22 hr and just regained it a few hours before I arrived. Suite was def warm- and I thought it was because of the power outage. Tried to turn up the fan which didn't change a thing. (in fact, I turned all 3 thermostats I found in there down to 60 and high fan and it never changed over 4 days! So- this suite is on the 38th floor and spans the width of the building so different views of the city from LR/DR and BR. Large 4 poster bed-- but there is a 4 inch ”ledge” around the mattress which is waist high to me (at 5-6”) making it extremely difficult to get into! Then discovered the bedside table and lamp was too far away to reach from bed...3 of the 4 pillows were incredibly lumpy- glad I only needed one pillow! Flat sheet on the bottom which wasn't long enough to be tucked in on top or side so it looked like a war had occurred in the morning (oh- and 2 comforters on the bed but don't know if it ever got cooler than 75 or so!). HUGE bathroom- big double size tub (but the row of lights over it had 3/4 of bulbs out), big steam shower with fabulous water pressure (but mildew on ceiling and amongst the marble tile), large bottles of fancy products in the shower (that could not be opened for those of you worried about that-I'm not, but see lots of angst about this). Several spots in teh BR had mildew, and lightening wasn't great for makeup. LR has 2 love seat sized couches (found some sort of canisters in between the seat cushions- ew!) large desk, table for 8 on the DR side plus a full kitchen (but a dirty black plastic serving spoon was on the stovetop!). Lots of nice artwork throughout. Carpet was stained in many areas. Never saw a TV remote though TVs were in the bedroom, bathroom and LR (didn't look real hard in LR, wasn't watching TV anyway, but thought it was odd). Housekeeping did come in after 2nd night, remade the bed with the same (wrinkled) sheets. Conference rooms were pretty darn cold. Oh, and did tell front desk that the AC wasn't working, but nothing changed. (Heard someone else on 38th floor complaining too). Lounge hours are limited- never made it there. Did have a bite to eat in the restaurant bar one evening- def not worth the calories or $. Unfortunately not much around open after 5 or 6, esp on a Sunday evening. Lobby is gorgeous, lots of seating in many areas incl tables with outlets for working.

We stayed here on January 5. The property itself was very nice—large rooms, comfortable beds, good breakfast. Our problem was dog-related. We checked in around 8 p.m. and went to our room to be immediately met with the consistent barking of a large dog in the adjacent room. We immediately called the desk and asked for another room. They didn’t have any other king rooms so the lady at the desk said she would come down and take a look. My husband waited for a few minutes then went up to the lobby when he didn’t see her. There was a steady stream of people checking in and the desk attendant was completely alone. My husband talked to her briefly and she called the room where the dog was, but of course, no one answered. She tried to move us to a room with 2 queens, but said she couldn’t register us to a different room because we had booked the room through AAA and the system wouldn’t allow her to make us keys. Eventually, she was able to call someone who told her just to take us to a room and let us in. To make things worse, the lady at the desk had a disability and walked with a walker. We felt terrible that she had to walk us to our room. We couldn’t believe there wasn’t a manager or security person who could have helped out. At some point during the night, they figured out how to make us keys and put them under our door. While my husband was in the lobby, another man came to the desk and said he needed another room because there was dog poop on the floor of his room. We’re okay with people travelling with their dogs, but this hotel obviously had some issues.

Die letzte Minute war aufgrund des schlechten Wetters und der Straßenbedingungen erwartet, dass unser Fahrt nach Hause aus einem Chefspiel. Die Kontrolle in Erfahrung und Parkplatz ging groß. Die Badezimmertür war ein Schleifstil und würde nicht geschlossen oder geschlossen.. so dass es irritierend war. Ein weiterer wichtiger Punkt, den ich erwähnen wert fühle, war, dass die Wände auf einer Seite von uns und 2 Jungs (Brüder oder Bffs?) Vollständig an Streit und Schlamm Dinge beginnen rund 4am. Ich fühlte mich nicht, wie das Front Desk etwas tun konnte 😕 so ich schweigend leiden. Gute Dinge.. Parkplatz war schön und nah, Frühstück war sooo gut, und der Gastfreund war wirklich geduldig und hilfreich mit allen! Wir würden zögern, wieder auf der Grundlage von Lärm, oder Paket einige Ohrschleifen.

Sollte es Sie jemals nach Kansas City verschlagen, kann ich Ihnen nur empfehlen das Holiday Inn Express - Kansas City Downtown bei Ihrer Auswahl zu berücksichtigen. Da der hoteleigene Parkplatz, der zwar mit 20 USD pro Nacht berechnet wird etwas teuer erscheint, stets gut besucht war, ist dvon auszugehen, dass auch die Einheimischen US Bürger dieses Hotel bevorzugen. Es liegt ganz in der Nähe zum T-Mobile Center, dem Power an Light District mit seinen Bars und Kneipen und dem COLLEGE BASKETBALL EXPERIENCE Center. Das Hotel trägt seine 3 Sterne zu recht. Ich habe zwei Zimmer gebucht. Beide waren außerordentlich groß und sauber. Kaffeemaschine, Klimaanlage, Safe und Kühlschrank gehören hier zum Standard. Das Frühstück ist für amerikanische Verhältnisse sehr gut und vielfältig. Obst, Joghurt, herzhafte Kost und Teigwaren aller Art, von allem ist reichlich vorhanden und wird bei Bedarf immer wieder aufgefüllt. Das Hotelpersonal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Tim hat weitlüfig deuteche Vorfahren, wie er uns berichtete und hat sogar versucht etws deutsch zu sprechen. Die Reinigungskraft war wohl etwas verstört, als sie das Zimmer reinigen wollte. Aber sie kam erst 16:00 Uhr ins Zimmer 104 und hätte damit rechnen können, dass wir uns auf dem Zimmer befinden könnten. Nun, wir kennen keine anderen Hotels in Kansas City, aber für ein 3 Sterne Holiday Inn Express im Stadtzentrum bewerte ich das Hotel als ausgezeichnet. Wir sind sehr zufrieden und würden wieder in diesem Hotel übernachten.

Darrell (Schiffführer) war das Highlight des Aufenthalts. Er war sehr persönlich, energisch und machte unsere ganze Party sich willkommen. Das Front Desk Team konnte einige Anmerkungen über die Gastfreundschaft von Darrell nehmen. Das Hotel ist zentral gelegen, aber das Gebäude ist ein bisschen datiert.

Wir hatten zwei Teams, etwa 20 Familien, die hier für die MLK VB Tour im Konferenzzentrum gehalten (einfaches 3-Block-Wandern). Das Hotel war sauber und ruhig, ein wichtiger Faktor, wenn man versuchen, eine gute Ruhe als Athleten zu erhalten. Hauspflege wurde täglich angeboten. Ich habe die Anzahl der Handtücher im Zimmer sowie die Qualität geschätzt! Wir bestellten von dem Restaurant vor Ort und das Essen war gut mit anständigen Preisen, vergleichbar mit den Restaurants in der Nähe. Keine komplimentarische brkfst. Das Hotel bietet einen Parkplatz für $28/day, oder es gab eine Garage von $10 direkt um die Ecke, und eine andere für $18 in die entgegengesetzte Richtung. Das schwierigste Problem, das wir getroffen haben, war, einen Ort zu finden, um tatsächlich zu parken/zu ziehen, um Taschen zu entladen, nur um zu prüfen, wenn wir erst angekommen sind. Das gleiche für Check-out. Hotel ist auf einer Straße Ecke w zero benannt Hotelparkplatz. Ich empfehle dieses Hotel und würde hier nochmal bleiben.

Ich war in Kansas City für Arbeit. Unser Arbeitgeber nutzt Corporate Unterkunft und schließt mit einem anderen Hotel für unseren Aufenthalt aus. In dieser Nacht gab es keine Zimmer für unser normales Hotel und Corporate Lodge hatte dieses Holiday Inn für uns gefunden, um zu bleiben, da dieses Holiday Inn auch Corporte Lodge Rechnungen trägt. Dieses ist wirklich schönes Hotel. Das ist ein drei-oder nicht vier-Sterne-Hotel. Das Personal, mit dem ich interagiert hatte, war alle sehr professionell und sehr freundschaftlich. Ich hatte vergessen, mein Säuberkit aus unserem normalen Hotel zu nehmen. Ich habe das Frontdesk gefragt, ob sie etwas hatten und sie tun. Sie haben Zahnbürsten, Paste, Deoderant, Ect für Sie. Sie haben auch eine Bar und Restaurant. Die Zimmer sind ruhig und schön dekoriert. Ich würde gerne für Arbeit in diesem Hotel bleiben, da es viel schöner ist als das, wo wir bleiben.

With all of the hotel choices near the Kansas City airport, I should have been able to make a better choice. We live in the KC metro area and were scheduled to fly out that morning, but after a number of delays our flight was canceled. We were booked on the same flight the following morning and decided to stay near the airport instead of going home since we'd used a car service to get to the airport and it just seemed like less hassle. We arrived at the hotel a little after noon and were told we couldn't check in until a room was cleaned. Given that checkout is at 11, I assumed that it wouldn't be all that long until a room was ready. I checked in with the gal at the front desk a couple of times and was told that she was waiting to hear from housekeeping. I asked if she couldn't initiate the contact and she indicated she'd do so, though never did. I even found the second floor cleaning crew who told me that all the rooms on the second floor were cleaned. Normal check-in is at 3 and a little before 3 I was called to the front desk to check-in. I honestly can't see a valid business reason to keep people waiting in the lobby until 3 if there's a room ready. Thankfully, not every hotel does that. There certainly wasn't anything in the lobby on which we could spend money, with the possible exception of a pop machine. This forced wait is the primary, but not the only reason, I'll ever stay at one of these properties again. Calling the room a ”suite” is laughable. It appeared to be pretty much an average size motel room. I guess what made it a ”suite” was a curtain in the middle of the room that could be pulled to divide the bed area from the rest of the room. The curtain only pulled about 75% across the width of the room, no it's not like there's any sense of privacy on either side. Also, for some reason that evades logic, the TV is on the end of the room with the bed, so it's not like someone could watch TV without disturbing someone who is sleeping. The pillows were very, very soft and not suitable for side-sleepers. The towel were very thin and the water pressure very low. There were other minor deficiencies that, while not critical, show a significant lack of attention to detail and a failure of supervision. My apologies for not having photos to share.
