The Belvedere Himalayan Retreat, Mcleodganj, by Leisure Hotels

I had an Awesome stay with family . Clean rooms . Spacious balcony and superb view . Staff Service was very good and polite . Recommend a stay here . Must add that food was very good . Would love to stay here in my next visit . Rooms with no views too have a good seating space , kids can enjoy there as much as they can.

Rooms with awesome Himalayan view from balcony. Dining place too. Making it serene. Very good service. The manager was kind enough to provide us the banquet hall with big screen to watch the India NZ match on Sunday. We were a grp of 12 and had the most amazing time. The taxi service for local travel, we got through the hotel was also great! Walking distance to the market place is an added attraction. Overall great experience

Excellent hotel close to markets, monastery, restaurants. My only complain was there was no bar but I have been assured it is coming as it is a fairly new hotel. Food and service in the restaurant is excellent. Yoshi and Tsering in reception were excellent. A very good hidden gem.

Many people talk about the facilities, which of course were fantastic but the key to this hotel was the staff. The views of the mountains was breathtaking. The rooms clean, spacious and beautiful. The breakfast was delicious and full of variety. The rooms, the breakfast, the reception all made this experience easy and enjoyable because of the service. Would definitely recommend and revisit in the future.

A beautiful hotel with a spectacular view of the mountains. The service was absolutely fantastic! The manager is extremely friendly, knowledgeable and hospitable. She went out of her way to ensure that our stay was absolutely perfect. This was the very best place we’ve stayed on our trip to India.

We stayed at Belvedere Himalayan retreat for 4 days. It was excellent! Very friendly staff and excellent service. This place is located close to the bustling Mall Road and therefore you can simply walk down and explore all the shops nearby. One quite small but significant aspect which made a huge difference to our stay - they had drinking water bottles placed in the common area on each floor for guests!! I mean I have stayed in many hotels but have not seen this service. Instead of calling room service and waiting for them to deliver water bottles, you can simply goto the common area and take water bottles for your use . This really won me over as I always buy water bottles and lug them to my room when I stay in hotels. Another sensible thing was their breakfast. They had a comprehensive menu and you just had to order whatever you want. So instead of having a buffet with 50 items where most of the guests over eat and waste quite a bit, they make you order whatever you want and deliver it fresh. So we ordered idli, dosa and omelette from the menu and the service was quite fast. Maybe price is slightly on the higher side but then many hotels in this area are like this so I won’t make a big deal of this. Excellent location, superior service and I would come back again
