The vibe of the old building in hotel takes you 100yrs back. Staff was courteous and food was great. Would highly recommend

The stay was for few minutes. Reason?
1. The thing you don’t get from description is that it is in an isolated small iffy village. 2. Like the pictures? I have news for you - those are color enhanced to increase the appeal. In reality dusty old place with musty smell through and through. If musty smell is your thing, go ahead. You won’t find a single user provided pictures - something to ponder upon…
Go ahead spend your heard earned money to experience a dusty place with steep stairs that won’t meet any code in the world. 2.b. If your answer is no - stay away. Find another decent hotel in nearby places like Chintpurni. 3. The place is not worth. 4. Safety: for people traveling with family, imagine this - you are in a secluded village; there are barely any fellow travelers. When we came by the place was empty - we were out numbered by the attendant. Felt extremely uneasy. Surrounding areas outside Pragpur (name of the village) is good. See the pictures. Just avoid this place if you are in love with your money and want to be in a safe clean place.

Had an excellent stay at the heritage site with wonderful care and caring staff . Food was very well prepared . The pool was a great get away . Would always love to make it a regular visit during my breaks . All the Best to the management for continuing the great standards. Our experience at Chateau Garli

We were four friends with wives. We stayed for three nights and had a wonderful time. The staff is extremely responsive and the facilities are all excellent. Very comfortable rooms- clean, practical and luxurious. The swimming pool is well maintained and a pleasant experience. The food is par excellence- be it Indian, Continental, or local food. We did the village walking tour with Ashu as our guide. It was very interesting and educative. The Kaleshwar Mahadev temple is worth a visit . We went for a picnic lunch at the Pong reservoir- were provided with a tasty packed lunch by the hotel. Also did Jwalaji temple. We had the local Dham food followed by Malai baraf- finger licking good. Yummy stuff. We also had a Ghazal evening by a local troupe- which was an interesting experience.

The experience at chateau garli was excellent. The service was simply outstanding and so was the delicious food. We felt at home. Rooms were ok. The buildings were enchanting. We'll stay there again.
