Wir haben einen sehr schönen Urlaub im Hotel Padova verbracht, mit vielen Vor- und wenigen Nachteilen. Pro: - eine sehr gute Lage zur Stadt Rab, die fußläufig oder mit dem Taxiboot in wenigen Minuten erreichbar ist. - direkt vor dem Haus befindet sich ein künstlich aufgeschütteter Strand, der für Kinder sehr schön ist; zum Schnorcheln und für Erwachsene gibt es sicher schönere Plätze auf Rab. Die Liegen am Strand sind kostenpflichtig, aber das kenne ich von anderen Orten in Kroatien (und Italien) nicht anders. - Die Poolanlage ist ebenfalls schön angelegt, hier sind die Liegen kostenlos. - Es gibt ein Hallenbad, Sauna, Fitness. - Das Essen im Rahmen der HP ist gut, könnte allerdings wärmer sein. Es gibt die ”Klassiker” am Buffet (Pasta, Pizza, Pommes), aber auch viel Fisch und Meeresfrüchte. - Die Terrasse beim Hauptrestaurant bietet einen wunderschönen Blick auf das Meer und die Altstadt. - Unser Zimmer war gut eingerichtet und bot ausreichend Platz für uns drei. Wasserkocher, Kühlschrank, Flat-TV waren vorhanden. Das Zimmer war sauber und ruhig und durch die Lage nach Norden auch nicht zu heiß. - In unmittelbarer Nähe gibt es einen Konzum und für Kinder einen Aquapark (Wibit). An der Rezeption können Ausflüge gebucht werden. - Auffallend war die Freundlichkeit aller Mitarbeiter:innen, mit denen wir zu tun hatten. - Schön, einladend gestaltet und sauber sind auch die Allgemeinflächen wie Rezeption, Lobby oder Gänge. Negativ: - Die Parkplätze sind sicher zu knapp bemessen- zu eng und zu wenig an der Anzahl. - Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Terrasse nach hinten, die aber aufgrund der vielen Stechmücken nicht nutzbar war, außer zum Aufhängen von Wäsche. - Der Lärmpegel im Hauptrestaurant gerade zu Stoßzeiten war an manchen Tagen fast unerträglich. - Auch im Padova gibt es viele Mitgäste, die schon im Morgengrauen Liegen am Pool reservieren und dann erst irgendwann auftauchen; hier hätte ich mir gewünscht, dass auch mal Handtücher entfernt werden. Es gibt im Hotel ein umfassendes Angebot für Kinder in versch. Altersgruppen, das wir aber nicht genutzt haben. Würden wir wiederkommen? Wahrscheinlich.

Wir suchten nach einem bezahlbaren Hotel auf halber Route Zadar - Ljubljana und landeten in dem Hotel Erster Tip von der Rezeption war, nicht auf dem Busparkplatz sondern auf der anderen Straßenseite den für Hotelgäste kostenfreien Parkplatz zu nutzen Im Hotel ist es extrem laut, weil man in den Lokalitäten des Hotels versucht jede Konversation mit Musik und Bässen zu unterbinden, was man aber auch in den Zimmern hört. Ergänzt durch Straßenlärm, weil man auf Biker setzt Das dritte Bett habe ich selber gemacht, Bettlampen gibt es nicht, Frühstück fokussierte sich auf Croissants und allerdings leckeren Cafe Der Ort lohnt allerdings nicht wirklich und es ist extrem windig Ist der Putzwagen auf dem Flur
