I previously reviewed the Tribe and was less than complimentary. I returned to the hotel in January 2022, because it is in a good location, the new manager promised a change and a complimentary night's stay, and partly out of curiosity. I was pleased to see the restaurant had improved considerably, a generator had been installed, and the internet was much improved, so far, so good. The local staff were, as before, friendly and did their best to provide a service.  Unfortunately, the rooms while clean were in a similar state of slight disrepair. TV programming was lacking and the shower screen in my own was broken, despite having twice cut myself, nothing was done. And the promise of a complimentary stay ? That was withdrawn or conveniently forgotten. Nevertheless, at $20-30 it is very fair. More than that, look elsewhere. NB. At the time of my stay, the hotel was not accepting credit cards, and unless you are on the tightest of budgets, don't opt for a 'budget room.” They are small, run-down, and noisy. Spend a couple of dollars more and ask for the second or third floor.

Kommen, um unseren Freunden Geburtstag in dolphijln Suiten zu feiern und das Personal sicherte, dass wir gut aufpassen. Das Team hatte für uns Komplimentarkage für uns organisiert. Auch die Einstellung war gut. Das Essen insbesondere Nyamo Choma war gist wow. Danke Team Delfin

As a solo female traveler, I felt safe and happy staying here! They offered a great price for laundry, all the staff were so nice and helpful, the breakfast buffet was amazing, and the rooms were so clean! Also, it's incredible that the restaurant offers vegan and organic options. Moreover, I love that there is a wine shop on the premises and a local shop offering African-made products! The only two drawbacks that I will mention is that I had to ask for coffee every morning at breakfast. This would often take 15-20 minutes to serve and I was surprised that coffee wasn't already offered. Also, every morning they started sweeping just outside of the rooms. I could hear this loud broom along the floor at 7:30 am so if you like to sleep in then you need to either bring ear plugs or stay at a different hotel. For some reason, the sweeping was so loud and I was woken up every morning (even with earplugs).

Ich habe hier 5 Nächte im Geschäftsbereich geblieben und es war hervorragend. Von den Kommen vom Frontdesk bis zum Taxi holen Sie sich zum Sicherheitspersonal. Jeder war so freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Restaurant ist offen für die Öffentlichkeit und immer besetzt und lebendig. Das Essen war gut Standard und guter Preis. Service war hervorragend. Die Sicherheitsmänner bestellten Taxis und gingen aus, um mir ein paar Bier zu holen am ersten Abend, als ich nach der Bar geschlossen um Mitternacht ankam. Der Fitnessraum ist gut ausgestattet mit Neuigkeiten. Das Frühstück war buffetstil und lecker. Ich habe in Kampala etwa 5 mal geblieben und das ist zweifellos mein Lieblingshotel.
