Kalmar Hostels

Ein schönes kleines Hotel. Die Zimmer sind grundsätzlich, aber sauber und perfekt für uns, da wir nicht den ganzen Tag im Hotel verbringen wollten. Lage war fantastisch, es ist ein 10-minütiges Spaziergang (max) zum Schloss. Alles andere ist innerhalb von 5 Minuten. Zimmer - Grundsätzlich hatten wir ein Doppelzimmer, das zwei Einzelbetten war, zusammen gedrückt. Die Betten waren wirklich komfortabel. Kleiner Tipp beantragt ein Zimmer in der Nähe des Rückens des Hotels, die Morgenlieferungen und Bin-Sammlung kann ein wenig laut sein. Das Badezimmer war sehr klein, aber hatte alles, was wir brauchten. Die Dusche war brillant schön und heiß und sehr leistungsfähig. Frische Handtücher wurden täglich angeboten. Die Reinigungspersonal war großartig, sie waren immer glücklich, zu helfen. Das Zimmer hatte auch einen Haartrockner und einen Desk. Die Sauna, die in der Nähe des Zimmers 115 liegt, ist Brill, es ist 3pm - 10pm geöffnet. Es ist eine anständige Größe und sehr sauber. Es gibt auch einen Jacuzzi, aber es war während unseres Besuchs aus der Ordnung. Es gibt auch eine kleine Sonnenterrasse aus der Sauna und Jacuzzi, die schön für Entspannung und Leute zu sehen ist. Das Frühstück war fantastisch, ein wirklich guter Buffet, viel besser als die, die die britischen Kette Hotels haben. Sie haben auch eine Zeitspanne für Vegan, Lactose-Intoleranz, Weizen-Intoleranz usw. Es gibt etwas für alle. Das Personal war erstaunlich, sie waren alle so freundlich und glücklich zu helfen. Jeanette ist besonders fantastisch, nichts war zu viel Probleme. Jeanette half uns, Taxis, Zimmer und alles andere zu buchen. Sie ist ein Superstar! Danke Jeanette! Insgesamt ein grundlegendes, aber brillantes Hotel, das eine große Basis bietet, um Kalmar zu erkunden!

I had reay good experience staying there. There was friendly and helpful stuff and tasty breakfast. Location played crucial role in my planning because it is next to city center where it is close to every interesting place.

Ich weiß es nicht einmal, ich sollte mich an die Mängel erinnern. Wahrscheinlich, das Fehlen eines Kühlschranks/Minibar im Zimmer. Und die Anzahl der Meter 15-18, aber es ist keine Überraschung. Im übrigen - komplette Vorteile. Lage direkt am Meer, mit einer Terrasse entlang der Fassade (auf dem Stil können Sie das Einkaufszentrum neben, und weiter zur Universität erreichen). Besichtigen Sie den Yachthafen und ein wenig weiter - zum Einkaufszentrum. Groß, nicht langweilig! Zur Station fünf Minuten von ungeschwindigkeiten Fuß. Zur berühmten Burg - 15. Eine große Schlaf. Sound Isolation ist normal, die Kissen sind auf dem Amateur anders. Das Zimmer ist trotz des Wetters warm (Ich war Winter). Wasser aus dem Tape ist trinkend, und es ist lecker. Der Service ist schnell und unbemerkt. Die Zimmer sind nicht sauber und die Handtücher ändern sich nicht ohne Anfrage und tun die richtige Sache. Frühstücksmöglichkeiten sind gut, 2-3 Tag kann ohne Wiederholung gegessen werden. Vielleicht gibt es nicht genug Samen oder so. Es gibt sogar einen Arbus und Ananas. Es gibt auch ein frühes Abendessen in diesem Restaurant (17 bis 20:30), auch ein schwedisches Tisch. Von dem Restaurant, natürlich, auch einen Ausgang zur Terrasse zum Wasser. Aber das Wichtigste ist Stil! Für es plus einen Punkt. Es ist ein ehemaliges Lager oder etwas. Alte Designs sind teilweise erhalten. Die Decken sind jedoch niedrig, aber es macht nicht spannende und sogar den Komfort zu stärken. Und eine Holzpromenade mit einem Weg nach den Yachten und zum Stadtzentrum! ... Kurz gesagt, ich war froh.

Sehr zu empfehlen, kostengünstig zu bleiben, die Umgebung ist sehr gut. Schöne Umgebung, gute geografische Lage, bequemer Transport, komfortable und sanitäre Räume, Servicepersonal ist sehr begeistert, Einrichtungen sind sehr menschlich, Hochgeschwindigkeitsnetzsignal ist gut, die Aussicht aus dem Fenster ist gut. Das Design des kleinen Pendels des Raumes ist ebenfalls sehr charakteristisch.

Fantastische Zimmer mit guter Service

We were recommended this hotel by a friend who lives in Kalmar and so we had high hopes for a nice stay. We had tried to book a room in the main hotel but unfortunately, it was booked out, so we opted for their budget accommodation in a building across the road. The photos looked nice. the main building was quite beautiful and we were greeted at reception with smiles and enthusiasm. Ebba, one of the staff gave us a brief and interesting history of the building and its original owners, so we felt like we were off to a good start. Our room was neat at first glance but noticed that it was sp****ly decorated and had no bedside tables, which we thought was a little odd. The bed seemed nice and comfortable which made us happy. After returning from dinner that evening we found a number of issues in the bathroom that seemed un-exceptable. The shower was extremely basic. The shower curtain was old, there was soap build up on the shower window and door, the shower soap was empty, the basin was loose and the glass shelf above it was also loose and rested on on angle. You had to put the glasses to the back of the shelf to prevent them from sliding off. We also found nuts of some kind on the floor under one of the chairs. What came next was greatly disappointing. Upon pulling back the doona on the bed we saw 3 silverfish skuttle across the sheet. Although we had a laugh, it was certainly not what we expected. Aside from that, we slept ok and the next morning we very much enjoyed the breakfast they had on offer. It was all very fresh and all very tasty. I went to reception as a coutesy to let them know the issues we had experienced and although the young girl wrote down what I told her explaining she would let management know, we were not offered an apology. That surprised me considering we are both seasoned travellers and have come to expect better. So when we arrived home I wrote a polite email to the manager detailing our stay and that although we recognise that sometimes cleaners etc can overlook things and just wanted to let them know of our disappointment. We received no reply. So I wrote to their facebook page and inquired if we would get a reply regarding our email. The post was read but again we received no reply. Sorry , but for an establishment that seems to have most of the boxes ticked in a stunning setting and friendly helpful staff, you do not win any points for your inability to show respect to a customer who thought bringing these issues to your attention would help. Someone needs to pull their socks up.

Good location with only a couple of minutes drive over the bridge to Öland. Friendly staff. No AC in the rooms so can be hot in the summer and noisy if you open the window due to the high traffic on the highway which goes just outside. Very dogfriendly hotell with dogs allowed in certain areas even at the breakfast. Good walking area just outside for you and your dog. Comparing price with renting a cabin at Öland we found the prices similar so stayed at the hotell and took the car over the bridge instead. Will definitly stay here again if / when we revisit Öland
