Malemi Organic Hotel

I first stayed at the Malemi in June/July 2024 when I booked a last-minute holiday to Lesbos through Jet2 and I'm now here for my second visit but for two weeks this time. I was really impressed by the quality of everything last time, and it still applies. The beds are some of the most comfortable I have ever slept in, the rooms are kept spotlessly clean and the bathrooms are excellent by Greek standards - a shower with glass doors, round sink on a stand and toiletries provided. Towels and sheets are changed three times a week, and bins emptied every day. TV in the room as well as safe, hair dryer and refrigerator. There is plenty of drawer and hanger space in the wardrobe. There is air conditioning with a remote, spacious balcony with a table and chairs plus a laundry airer for drying swimsuits. However, the main advantage of staying at the Malemi is their wonderful food. If you can, go half board because you'll taste Greek food like you've never tasted before! The variety is second to none, and the only downside is that you will need to diet once you get home! The breakfasts offer a good choice of traditional English or Continental plus the best Greek yoghurt ever! Beers are served in frozen glasses... Mikki, George and family are delightful hosts, and their team work hard to make you feel at home. I will certainly be back!

From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the high level of service. The staff was incredibly friendly and always eager to assist. Our room was spotless, modern, and well-equipped. The swimming pool was large and well-maintained, and the bar offered great drinks and snacks. A fantastic stay!

I have stayed at many 3 star hotels in Greece 🇬🇷 and this is our 3rd stay in Lesvos (previously staying in Petra) and unfortunately this is the worst. The hotel is very tired, with many maintenance issues throughout the hotel eg wood surround hanging off above door, handles missing off drawers, bath screen not moving. The grounds of the hotel needs attention and looks very unkept. Looks like the staff have given up. Breakfast was typical continental. No atmosphere and it's not good that a very young girl is serving at the poolside bar. Not professional. Unfortunately I will not be returning.
