We booked to stay here for 4 nights and ended up staying for 12.... Such a beautiful place deserves an extended period of time and it definitely didn't disappoint! We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this campground and will absolutely be back in the future. We loved all the wild life wandering around camp... Ducklings, Wekas, the sound of moreporks... And the beach was literally a stones throw away. The period we have stayed has been incredibly busy, but if you don't mind that you will love it here as much as we have, i can only imagine how beautiful and serene it would be here in the off-season. The sites are all really decent size and the staff are all so lovely! We met some really down to earth people here and loved chatting to our ”neighbours” everyday. The only improvement (albeit very minor! ) that I can think of would be to extend the shower times beyond 6 minutes, which would be really helpful for individuals who have disabilities, injuries or health challenges (8 or even 10 would be ideal!) but otherwise I can wholeheartedly say we really have loved our stay here and will be sad to say goodbye at the end of the week! The barn is such a special place I will always say has the best view in town!! But its the whole vibe that the team fosters that makes this place so special! So many outdoor activities on offer great local knowledge onsite delicious coffee and yoga classes to help with all the tired bodies exploring the national park literally a stones throw away! We had a beautiful extended stay and my partners parents had the best time in the creek house when they came to visit so much so they have re-booked the same place for next time!! I have done a fair amount of traveling and by far the best camp ground I've stayed at!!

An excellent place to stay for families and young people. Lots of entertainment for the kids. Very clean, fun family environment. Comfortable accommodations, slept very well.

Wir haben für 5 Nächte (Familie von 5 mit 3 älteren Jugendlichen) mit einem Ensuite-Kabine und einem bunken Zimmerkabine verblieben. Betten waren großartig, Zimmer waren sauber und gut ausgestattet. Die Gemeindeküche ist sauber und gut organisiert. Kinder lieben den Lounge mit dem Pooltisch und halten dort die meisten Abende. Schön hier mit einer Mischung aus arbeitenden Urlaubsreisenden, Rückenpackern und Familien leben. Ruhig und entspannt, sehr empfohlen, danke Lauren!

Wir haben direkt gebucht und im Juli 2021 mit dem Motel gut vor der Zeit für eine zwei Schlafzimmereinheit für 3 Personen für einen einnachtigen Aufenthalt im Januar 2022 bestätigt. Bei der Ankunft sagte der Besitzer uns, dass sie einen Fehler gemacht hatte und unsere 2 Schlafzimmereinheit war jetzt besetzt und wir wurden eine Schlafzimmereinheit gegeben. Schlafanordnung war ein Bett im Lounge und ein Doppelbett im Schlafzimmer. Da es ein Nachtaufenthalt war, haben wir uns entschlossen geblieben, ohne jegliche Zugeständnis des Besitzers in Form einer Entschuldigung. Also beachten Sie, dass Ihre geforderte Buchung möglicherweise nicht das ist, was Sie erhalten. Es war eine heiße Nacht während unseres Aufenthalts, und es gibt keine Klimaanlage. Ein tragbares Fan wurde im Schlafzimmer bereitgestellt, und kein Kühlschrank für die Lounge. Daher, eine sehr ruhige Nacht. Lage war bequem, einfach zu Fuß zu Restaurants und Supermarkt. Wir zahlen $225NZ für unseren Aufenthalt.
