給這家酒店打3分中評。 飯好吃，户外就餐環境舒服，離店有伴手禮。 但作為四線城市定價700+的酒店，4.9的高分，整體體驗遠低於預期。 首先頭一次碰到這麼貴的房價，沒有一對一管家服務，全程無人添加我微信對接，房間也沒安裝電話，也就是得需要下去一樓前台才能找到服務員。 到店後也沒有工作人員主動幫忙提行李去房間。 點餐想吃鯽魚，竟然總是拒絕，非要推薦鯽魚蓋飯，那個前台女的比較強勢。 其次睡眠體驗很不好，本是奔着鄉下的寧靜環境而來，結果早上8點就被酒店附近裝修的電鑽聲吵醒，完全打破了放鬆的初衷。跟茶台那個老闆模樣的人也跟他提到這一點，他也就輕描淡寫的敷衍了一句就出去了。對客人態度也是比較冷淡。 早餐的芋頭是發臭的，壞了！因為他們沒有自助餐底部加熱設備，都是用普通盤子裝的，取餐時還要求客人戴口罩去拿東西，自己設備不到位，還要求客人來遷就他們！ 最後退房體驗不佳，原本計劃11點半在餐廳就餐，正準備點餐，卻被前台那個女的告知必須12點半前得退房，於是果斷放棄在這家午餐。 700+的價格在開平已經是偏高，卻沒匹配到對應的服務質量和居住體驗，性價比有點低，這家肯定不來住了，下次去懶貓住住看。

A hidden gem. I don't even want to share this review to make this hotel too popular! As a person who doesn't speak very good Chinese, the staff at this hotel were very accommodating despite the language barrier. When you first arrive at the hotel, you are greeted by a creative garden complete with outdoor dining areas, swings, a fish tank, and more. On check in, the receptionist was very attentive to all of my questions and directed me to the places I asked about through wechat. It was very easy to follow the directions. I was also offered a spread of fresh fruit to enjoy before settling in my room. The room was spacious and clean and had the most advanced toilet that I have ever used! There was a wide open window for a beautiful view of the dialou across the pond. The suite of amenities was also much appreciated, including snacks, toiletries, and slippers. A highlight of this hotel is the breakfast. They not only provide the standard Chinese breakfast fare such as porridge and pastries, but also served local kaiping specialties. They also have food you can order off of a menu but I didn't have anything during my stay. Upon checkout I was also given a goodie bag filled with local specialties and treats which was much appreciated!

Excellent place to stay after exploring the diaolous, and 1). the view at the top room is magnificent 2). Staff was very friendly/ sing like a rockstar 3). hotel area itself is beautifully decorated.

Room was nice and comfortable, the staff were friendly, and the breakfast was superb. A pleasant and enjoyable stay overall!

Exceptional place and staff. The room was exceptionally cosy, and the bed was literally the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in. Breakfast and restaurant's dishes were delicious, often serving veggies from their own garden. Staff is very friendly and helpful, always ready to provide every kind of tourist information. The surrounding is beautiful and calm. In one word: absolutely best place to relax!

Cantonese hospitality at its best! The family who runs the place masters the art of taking care of their guests. We posses a limited Chinese vocabulary, but with the help of a translation app, and their eagerness to make us feel at home, we had a great time. The rooms are spacious and clean, we travel a lot and this was one of the most comfortable beds we have slept in while being in China. All amenities are supplied (including a snack box in the room!) and everyone has been helpful in ensuring we had all we needed. Breakfast was generous with many local dishes, ones we, as foreigners, most likely wouldn’t have tried on our own. The location is very convenient; Zilicun entrance is a 8 min walk. You can easily spend the whole morning in Zilicun to enjoy the scenery before it gets too hot. Afterwards we came back to enjoy lunch at the homestay - the restaurant serves tasty food. In the evening the scenery is stunning, a lot of effort has been put in landscaping the garden and the towns main buildings are perfectly illuminated. The family’s generosity, together with the facilities and the cosy performances at night made our stay very special. Thank you again!
