The hotel itself and its facilities are fantastic. The rooms are nice and the food is absolutely superb. Unfortunately the service in the restaurant was really poor, which made this stay absolutely unpleasant. We were given dirty table cloths (and they didn’t want to replace it after asking for it), our table was given to someone else while we were at the buffet, we had to order drinks several times until finally served, we were given the bill to sign while still eating the main dish (not even dessert) and actually wanted to order more drinks, after being seated, we had to wait min 10 min to place orders for drinks or get silverware etc. From a 5* hotel we definitely expected something better. This is the only hotel during our trip, where we experienced bad service. which is a pity, as otherwise the hotel is really nice. We would not book it again.

Wir übernachteten eine Nacht in einem King-Zimmer mit Bergblick. Das Zimmer war sauber und hatte eine wunderbare Terrasse. Es wird von einer liebenswerten Familie geführt, wir wurden bei unserer Ankunft mit Tee begrüßt und das Zimmer war mit einer Heizung und einer warmen Decke ausgestattet – perfekt für das kühle Bergklima von Nuwara Eliya. Obwohl wir spät ankamen, freuten wir uns, dass es Abendessen gab. Obwohl die Speisekarte begrenzt war, sorgte sie dafür, dass wir nicht hungrig ins Bett gingen. Das Frühstück war außergewöhnlich, eines der besten, das wir in Sri Lanka erlebt haben. Das Cottage San Francesco ist gemütlich, ruhig und ein schöner Ort zum Übernachten. This was a great place to stay in Nuwareliya. The Villa is beautifully kept with 3 cozy rooms and a great small garden for some early morning teas! The staff were quite helpful, and the villa is located in close proximity to the Nuwareliya town. It is one of the most peaceful villas to stay at with a good view of some tea fileds. It is definitely worth a visit for couples, a group of friends and/ or Family.

Das Hotel liegt in Fussnähe des Zahntempels. Obwohl eine Strasse zwischen Hotel und See verläuft, haben wir gut und ruhig geschlafen. (Kein Verkehr in der Nacht. Das Zimmer war sauber und geräumig. Das Bad schön und ebenfalls sauber ( tolle Regendusche mit heissem Wasser) Das Frühstück lecker und reichlich. Die Bedienung professionell und sehr zuvorkommend. Alles super für einen Kurzaufenthalt.

Our butler, Sakuna, provided exceptional service, attending to our every need and ensuring we had a comfortable stay. We were also pleased to meet the General Manager, Mr. Dilip Kumar, who personally reached out to us and made our stay even more memorable. We stayed on a bed and breakfast basis, and the breakfast offered a great selection of delicious items. The Kandy Gallery Suite we stayed in was spacious and luxurious, featuring a large jacuzzi that added an extra touch of relaxation. The staff were friendly and attentive throughout our stay. The swimming pool also offered a beautiful view, overlooking the serene Mahaweli River. Overall, Jetwing Kandy Gallery is a wonderful retreat with excellent service and a picturesque setting. Highly recommended for anyone looking to unwind and enjoy nature in Kandy.

Beim Ankunftspersonal waren die Mitarbeiter sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Sie zeigten uns in unser Zimmer, das sauber war und die kleinen besonderen Kontakte, Handtücher, Seife, Kettle, Tassen, Glas, Flaschen Wasser benötigt hatten. Es war eine sehr gute Größe mit einem au-suite Badezimmer mit Dusche, großes Bett mit extra-Quilt, wenn nötig, Luftkon, die so wichtig in einer sehr feuchten, heißen Umgebung ist. Die Aussicht vom Balkon war von der Dschungel, Palmenbäume wachsen direkt außerhalb des Balkons, absolut erstaunliche spektakuläre Aussicht. Die entspannenden Gebiete und das Essenszimmer waren wieder sehr sauber mit Blick aus jedem Winkel, an dem Sie sitzen. Die Mitarbeiter waren sehr aufmerksam Ihren Bedürfnissen die Nahrungsmittelwahl war gut und es war heiß und lecker. Der oberste Stock außerhalb des Raums hatte Aussichten zu sterben, die Klang der Tiere waren erstaunlich. Wenn ich länger in diesem Hotel bleiben würde, würde ich ein kleines Auto vermieten, um sich zu bewegen, da die Fahrt auf dem Hotel war lang und auf dem Hügel, was für die Ansichten es wert war.

Das Zimmer ist sauber und komfortabel. Der Hall und der Pool sind sehr komfortabel und können den ganzen Tag bleiben! Die Umgebung ist sehr gut, es gibt einen See neben dem Hotel und eine kleine Bergsteige. Am Morgen erhoben sich und hörte die Vogel singen, richtig, es gibt viele Schnecken 😄

Das Hotel ist sehr schön und das Frühstück ist sehr lecker. Aber die Nachtschuhe wurde von Insekten gepflastert und die Bettwäsche muss verstärkt werden.
