Bell Lodge Motel & Backpackers Hostel

Unfortunately I can´t give zero stars, so it has to be one.This is the worst hostel, I have ever been. The staff is rude, the dryers are not working and there are no lockers or door keys. So everybody can come into the room. You have to keep your worthy belongings always with you. The kitchen is closed from 10-12am and when you want to grab some food to make breakfast, you will get problems with the staff. It's the same in the evening. You can´t have a late breakfast or dinner. The most of the guests are weird long-term people with no tolerance with the backpacker-life and no behavior. Furthermore it's pretty cold, especially in the night and the morning. You're freezing like hell. The blankets are not smelling fresh and the rooms need a vacuum too. And when you leave your stuff outside because you DON´T have lockers, you will get problems. The best thing is, that when you complain about something, the answer is: "This is your problem!" The kitchen is pretty bad equipped and the dishes aren't cleaned properly. The last thing I want to tell you is, that the location is pretty bad. You have to walk half an hour to the next supermarket and an hour to get into the CBD. So when you don't have a car it's not really suitable for backpackers with a lot of stuff to carry. So please keep away of this horrible hostel!!!
