Booked last minute for one night to break up the road trip home, paid £160ish for the privilege. Positives: Receptionist and barman were friendly, room was very spacious and linen clean. Negatives: Cheap uncomfortable bed, room may be spacious but feels soulless due to no pictures on the walls and furniture felt more appropriate for a hostel. Overall the room was clean until you look at the bathroom floor which was utterly filthy, more like something you’d see in a public WC. Very large but very old Samsung TV’s, not connected to WiFi so couldn’t log in to Netflix or even screen mirror from phone, so French TV it’ll be to relax then….oh and despite having two TV’s in the room one had to be unplugged as the remote worked both at the same time, genius. Finally the hotel corridors smell like an EasyJet flight returning from Magaluf (I imagine). Thoughts and msg to Mercure; Just because it’s a ‘business’ hotel doesn’t mean customers don’t want home comforts, buy some more pillows, pictures for the walls and upgrade the 10 year old TV’s. While you’re at it how about a headboard covered in fabric & foam so you can sit up comfortably in bed?? Finally I think it’s great that French hotels are so pro-dogs, we really struggle to find places to stay in England with ours but if your going to let people bring them you have to expect accidents so perhaps having your corridor carpets professionally cleaned once in a while might help to ensure the smell of caca goes away??? Peace.

Lachende Lage ist gut. Etwa 20 Minuten vom Zentrum von Orleans entfernt. Wir bezahlten 250€ für ein Zimmer mit einem Sofabett für die Kinder. Bestimmt, dieses Hotel ist 3 Sterne und definitiv nicht wert die Kosten

Sauberes Hotel, Zimmer auch. Ausreichend Parkplätze die auf dem gesicherten Gelände sind. Frühstück ist gut, mit großer Auswahl (inkl. frischgepresstem O-Saft). Zimmer für 3 Personen ist groß / sehr reell. Großes und gutes Bett (in Frankreich selten !). Leider sprach die Dame nachts am Empfang kein Englisch. Das Tor zum Grundstück ist nachts geschlossen und es gibt nicht einmal eine Klingel um sich bemerkbar zu machen. Wenn man dann anruft kann es sein, dass man auf der Mailbox landet. Für uns ein reines Übernachtungshotel am Standrand gelegen. Gut von der Autobahn zu erreichen, liegt direkt an einer Durchgangsstraße, ist aber nicht laut da etwas zurückgelegen. Schöner Ort an der Loire mit tollem Schloss.

Hilfevolles und aufmerksames Personal, erstaunliches Umfeld mit charmanter Architektur und Dekor, alle in herrlichen Grundstücken gelegen.Wir hatten nicht die Möglichkeit, den Spazierbad sauna oder sauna zu versuchen, aber genossen zu Fuß neben dem Wald. Ich konnte leicht vorstellen, dass das eine perfekte Bestimmung für eine mehr Nacht-Hochzeit oder Konferenz ist. Unser Zimmer (Nummer 5) war von der besetzten Straße entfernt, so war ruhig und ruhig. Die Mattress war besonders fest und das Zimmer wurde reichlich (wir mussten das Fenster und die Tür geschlossen halten, weil wir unsere Katzen enthalten mussten), aber ein Fußbodenfans war hiermit geholfen. Das Zimmer war auf der kleinen Seite, aber perfekt für einen Übernachtungsurlaub und wir schätzten die Loo separat zum Badezimmer. Das kleine Patio-Gebiet war ein süßer Touch. Abendessen war großartig - schöne Variante, großzügige Teile für den feinen Essenspreis, und lecker. Ich liebe die Betonung auf französisches Essen und Wein. Ich würde diese Unterkunft noch einmal suchen. Für diejenigen, die einen längeren Aufenthalt mit mehr Ablenkungen planen, die Dörfer eine kurze Fahrt beide Seiten des Chateau sehen aus, haben genug, um einen besetzt zu halten, zusammen mit verschiedenen Parks, Weinbergen usw.

Das Hotel scheint ein Motel zu sein und die Zimmer sind sehr date. Das AC ist vom Hotel kontrolliert und kann nicht angepasst werden (nur Temperatursteigerung). Der Luftwind ist ca. 25cm mit 5cm! Das Zimmer war sehr reichlich und unkomfortabel zu schlafen. Restaurant wurde vollständig reserviert. Wir wollten bestellen, konnten aber nicht im Barbereich essen Außerhalb. Nur in unserem Zimmer! Lachende Lage ist gut. Etwa 20 Minuten vom Zentrum von Orleans entfernt. Wir bezahlten 250€ für ein Zimmer mit einem Sofabett für die Kinder. Bestimmt, dieses Hotel ist 3 Sterne und definitiv nicht wert die Kosten

Booked last minute for one night to break up the road trip home, paid £160ish for the privilege. Positives: Receptionist and barman were friendly, room was very spacious and linen clean. Negatives: Cheap uncomfortable bed, room may be spacious but feels soulless due to no pictures on the walls and furniture felt more appropriate for a hostel. Overall the room was clean until you look at the bathroom floor which was utterly filthy, more like something you’d see in a public WC. Very large but very old Samsung TV’s, not connected to WiFi so couldn’t log in to Netflix or even screen mirror from phone, so French TV it’ll be to relax then….oh and despite having two TV’s in the room one had to be unplugged as the remote worked both at the same time, genius. Finally the hotel corridors smell like an EasyJet flight returning from Magaluf (I imagine). Thoughts and msg to Mercure; Just because it’s a ‘business’ hotel doesn’t mean customers don’t want home comforts, buy some more pillows, pictures for the walls and upgrade the 10 year old TV’s. While you’re at it how about a headboard covered in fabric & foam so you can sit up comfortably in bed?? Finally I think it’s great that French hotels are so pro-dogs, we really struggle to find places to stay in England with ours but if your going to let people bring them you have to expect accidents so perhaps having your corridor carpets professionally cleaned once in a while might help to ensure the smell of caca goes away???
