Jiuzhaigou Forest and Water, Light Luxury and Beautiful Accommodation

The hotel is far from the bustling area of Jiuzhaigou but I guess if you wish to have a place of respite, this is it. It is located about 14km away from Jiuzhaigou National Park, approximately 30 mins drive. The Hotel room is very spacious, about 50sqm. It is very well decorated and has all the basic amenities. The Breakfast is sumptuous and great given this is just a small boutique hotel. Within the hotel, there are some Ducks and Swans, Deers, Dogs, Peacocks and Ostrich. Good if you have children. The service staff are all excellent, highly recommended.

The only regret was that I didn’t book a longer stay! Love the room that I was upgraded to and breakfast food selections was by far the best amongst the 4 cities and 6 hotels I have stayed for this long travel journey in China. The managers are very attentive and friendly, even offering to help me take photos when they noticed me struggling to take a selfie. The yak soup was delicious and best shared amongst 2 or more travellers. The mini zoo was cute. There was no tv in the room but took the chance to read a book and relax in the bathtub. Fruits and mini bar was a nice touch.

The bed was wonderfully comfortable, the linens felt fresh and crisp, and there was plenty of room to relax without feeling cramped. It’s the kind of space that instantly puts you at ease. And then there’s the surprise that makes this place unforgettable—their charming little zoo! We were delighted to wander outside and find deer gracefully roaming, a curious ostrich adding a playful touch, and three adorable dogs who absolutely stole our hearts. It’s unique, joyful, and perfect for both families and anyone who loves a bit of nature and personality with their stay. If you’re heading to the astounding Jiuzhai Valley National Park, this place makes the adventure even more special. The park’s dreamlike scenery-mirror‑clear lakes in shades of turquoise, terraced mineral pools, cascading waterfalls, and ever‑changing forests left us in awe. After a day of wandering boardwalks and soaking in those views, coming back to the serenity of “Between the trees and streams” felt perfect. The name truly fits the vibe.
