Hotel/Zimmer Das Hotel ist von der Lage her sehr zentral. Es ist nicht modern aber von der Architektur her besonders. Der Turm, der für die Hotelgäste kostenlos ist, bietet eine 365° Aussicht auf Jerusalem. Über einen Lift gelangt man nach oben. Hier muss man nur noch wenige Stufen (Wendeltreppe) laufen. Es lohnt sich. Die Ausstattung der Zimmer ist völlig ok: Schrank, Betten, TV, Klimaanlage, kleiner Kühlschrank, Wasserkocher. Tisch mit Spiegel. Das Bad war ok: Seifen und Lotions vorhanden, weiche und saubere Handtücher, Badewanne. Der Föhn ist kurz vorm sterben und eine Klobürste ist nicht vorhanden. Das Zimmer war sauber, auch wenn ich kein Fan vom Teppich bin. Service Das Personal ist nett. ABER: Zum guten Service gehört es dazu, dass das Personal vorausschauend ist, mitdenkt und vielleicht auch Tipps gibt. Beispiel: Wenn ich mit Kind und Baby im Kinderwagen an der Rezeption frage, wo der Hotelpool ist, dann ist die Antwort ”raus, links und Treppe runter” zu wenig bzw. mangelhaft. Links neben der Treppe, leicht versteckt befindet sich ein Lift, die Beschilderung fehlt, sowas muss das Personal wissen und sowas muss das Personal doch sagen. Natürlich bin ich mit dem Kinderwagen die Treppe runtergelaufen. Achtung, die Treppenstufen sind recht glatt. Nächster Punkt: Die Anlage mit dem Pool ist eher eine Art Sportcenter mit Fitnessstudios und einem Schwimmbad. Als Hotelgast hat man hier freien Eintritt. Hier können Erwachsene ( Durchschnittsalter lag geschätzt bei 50) ihre Bahnen schwimmen oder sich kurz in die Sauna daneben setzen. Der Pool ist für Kinder absolut nicht geeignet, ein Nichtschwimmerbecken gibt es nicht und Kinder unter 2 Jahren dürfen erst gar nicht ins Wasser. Auch das hätte mir das Hotelpersonal direkt sagen können. Noch dazu kam, dass jeder mit längeren Haaren eine Badehaube benötigt. Dies wurde weder an der Rezeption im Hotel, noch an der Rezeption im Sportcenter vorab gesagt. Erst als wir alle ausgezogen am Pool waren, hieß es ”das Kind braucht eine Badehaube, sie können an der Rezeption eine für 10 Scheckel holen”! Sowas ist sehr sehr ärgerlich und mit Kindern sehr anstrengend. Wenn ich alleine da gewesen wäre, wäre ich einfach gegangen. Aber weil mein nun weinendes Kind sich so sehr auf den Pool gefreut hat, musste ich mit dem Baby wieder hoch laufen und eine Haube kaufen. Sehr nervig! Sowas kann vermieden werden! Informiert eure Gäste! Bereitet ein Din A4 Blatt mit allen Infos vor, dann müsst ihr nicht einmal mitdenken. Parken Es befindet sich ein Parkhaus mit ausreichenden Parkplätzen für Hotelgäste. Die Zufahrt ist in der George Washington Street, Parkebene -2. Diese Infos könnte das Hotel vorab teilen.
