I was in Jefferson for the Christmas candlelight tour and had a wonderful stay at this bnb. The Golden Slumbers eoom was very comfortable and spacious. It even had a cute little Christmas tree in the corner. The breakfast each morning was delicious and varied each of the 3 mornings I was there. Nicole and Tommy are excellent hosts! The location is within walking distance of everything in town.

We loved this bed and breakfast. The house is beautiful with gorgeous stained-glass windows. The decor was exquisite with just the right number of embellishments. The hosts, Tommy and Nicole, were welcoming and provided an excellent variety of breakfasts. We were there for three mornings and each breakfast was different with unique and delicious dishes. We also loved Jefferson. This house isn't located downtown, but it is walking distance for us. We enjoyed the shops, the restaurants and the historic homes. Also, nearby is Caddo Lake, which is the only natural lake in Texas. All in all, it was a wonderful weekend for us.

What a wonderful experience! I have been to a lot of bed and breakfasts and this was by far the most accommodating, elegant, warm, well thought B and B I’ve stayed at. Tommy and Nicole were so friendly! They really thought of everything. So much thought was put into every detail. I wouldn’t have changed a thing. Can’t wait to go back!

Our hosts were so friendly, the accommodations immaculate, and the breakfast was 5-star! Jefferson is a charming little town with several things to see & do. We were very comfortable hanging out in the living room sipping wine and just relaxing. If it had been a few degrees cooler we definitely would have been out on the wraparound porch!

This house is beautiful and so tastefully decorated. The stairs and floors are as a solid as if they were built yesterday. The host and hostess have provided you with luxurious bedding and bath linens. The snack station downstairs provides coffee, tea, water, or sodas along with home baked cookies! The breakfast are gourmet 2 course meals and delicious! We loved visiting this lovely home and will return.

My husband and I were looking for a short getaway on our motorcycles. We were so blessed to find the Benefield House in Jefferson, TX. The owner, Nicole, is the epitome of a host. The house is tastefully and expertly appointed, as well as spotlessly clean. Our room and bed were incredibly comfortable with the best bed and pillows! I could not have imagined a more wonderful breakfast. Nicole's attention to detail is boundless, from the fresh cream on the perfectly baked apple dumplings to the perfectly seasoned rosemary potatoes. This was an experience that we'll never forget and we will definitely return!

What an excellent BnB! I was impressed with The Benefield House BNB from the moment I found them on Google Maps. I went to their site and was very impressed. Then, I made easy reservations and once again impressed. There was great communication and they were ready for me when I arrived. What a beautiful place, very old and rich with history. Inside and out is just beautiful. Everyone I encountered were first rate people. Everything was clean and comfortable, quiet and easy. Great food and happiness. I will be back when I am in the area. Thank you Benefield House!
