Villa Morelia

Jausier is in a valley surrounded by snow capped mountains. A river runs through it. Villa Morelia is a well designed hotel with an excellent restaurant. We enjoyed 2 creative and delicious dinners and 2 buffet breakfasts. Our room overlooked the garden with a snowy mountain backdrop. It was very comfortable and worked well for us. There are many walking options on fairly easy trails though more difficult routes abound . We felt as we made a discovery of this location.

Robert and Alexandra owners of this hotel make you feel so welcome and nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are so per comfortable and the breakfast and dinner a treat. We arrived on our scooters and the weather was not so good, so Alexandra lent us her car to go to Barcelonette.. really so unexpected. This is what hospitality is about!

I came to this hotel with a friend in the evening after driving down from high in the alps, where we had shared a small (very) and clean room with a sofa bed and another built into a corner . The Villa Morelia experience was like the air that evening - fresh and warm in first days of spring. The owner set up a humorous banter while he smoothly accommodated both us and a group with 6 Ferraris. We were really pleased with not only having two separate rooms - but ones so large and comfortable, and with a beautiful view of the valley and the mountains. We sat at the outdoor bar for an hour with a great hostess, and some of the family of the owner. There was a little rain, but it didn't make it through the trees - just enough to cool the air while we drank some rosé. And the dinner - fantastic - a cut of beef with porcini sauce and small spring vegetables and a very good and fairly priced Chatauneuf de Pape. As you can likely tell, this was a very good experience. I will bring my wife next time - really a short drive from Cassis that we will both enjoy.

Am upscale hotel which is pretty rare in the area. Efficient front desk, nice room, good equipment. Large garden and swimming pool. Ample parking space. Slightly pricey but nothing scandalous. A good option in this village and actually in the whole valley.

Voilà ce qu'on attend d'un séjour de vacances : un accueil chaleureux , des conseils avisés pour les randonnées et une chambre confortable plus 2 soirs au restaurant de la villa ou nous avons été reçu par de talentueuses jeunes filles pour déguster une cuisine raffinée .

Nous y sommes allés en famille pour célébrer un mariage pendant deux jours et tout était impeccable ! L’accueil Les prestations étaient vraiment digne d’un 4 étoiles , les plats servis étaient très raffinés ! Les petits déjeuners fabuleux avec du sucré salé délicieux Le cadre . Personnellement ce sera mon point de chute incontournable quand je reviendrais à Jausiers

Loin des lieux aseptisés aux décors de magasine, ici une maison centenaire entretenue et de caractère, à l’image du patron et maître des lieux. Aucune chance de passer devant un membre du personnel sans avoir au minimum un bonjour, et ce parc aux arbres centenaires, avec piscine et bar. Que dire de la table avec une cuisine inventive aux goûts recherchés et cuissons justes. Une valeur sûre de l’hôtellerie Française.

Parenthèse de bonheur sur la route des vacances. Dans un parc de verdure avec piscine et bar plein air une maison cossue gérée par un patron avec beaucoup de personnalité. Le personnel n’est pas en reste avec un professionnalisme hors pair. La table est une pépite gastronomique, généreuse subtile et gourmande dirigée par une maîtresse d’hôtel au sommet de son art. Vous pouvez dévier votre route de centaines de kilomètres, le rapport kilomètre plaisir est positif.

Nous avions réserver pour dîner dans cette belle demeure et a notre grande surprise sans précisions, nous sommes placé sur la terrasse sous une tente en plastique , 1 ére déception, puis une fois la commande passée , on nous annonce que l entrée est épuisée. Nous somme partis sans dîner très très déçu.services de mauvaise qualité . Plus digne . A éviter.
