Club Wyndham Newport Overlook

We're currently staying at this quiet coastal resort. Our gorgeous waterfront duplex unit boasts two bedrooms, two and a half baths, fully stocked kitchen, a handy washer/dryer, and even a grill on the front lawn. Plus, we've got our very own parking spot! And if we feel like exploring, downtown Newport is just a hop across the Pell Bridge. This place is clean, spacious, and offers stunning water views. A week before our arrival, we got a call from the resort letting us know that check-in is now at the Bay Voyage Inn just down the street. The front desk team—Isabelle, Zachery, John, and Ruth—couldn't be friendlier or more helpful. Isabelle, in particular, seems to have a knack for resolving any issues and anticipating guests' needs to ensure we have a great stay. This trip is turning out to be the perfect blend of relaxation and adventure, with top-notch service to boot.

Issues: Excessive noise from the refrigerator, the fan in downstairs bathroom, and the heat pump(?) outside the patio. Intermittent mild sewage smell outside the unit near the parking lot, and occasionally inside the front door.

Outdated units. Beautiful views from the unit we stayed in. Close to Newport but the toll Bridge gets expensive quickly.

Just a great local stay for us (about 40 minutes from home) and so close to all the historic Jamestown forts and state parks as well as Newport. We try and come a couple times a year. Great spacious unit that are well equipped with everything you need. Isabel, the resort manager, once again, treated us like royalty. We appreciate her so much. Even follows up with a call the day after check in just to make sure everything is ok. Can’t wait to return in October 2024.

The location was a bit hard to find, but once there it was great. The main office is at a different location. The staff is very accommodating, and they moved us to a more suitable unit for my elderly mother. The unit was clean; the dishwasher was not properly installed and was loose. Jamestown is a nice little community. Newport is closeby for the tourist activities.

We are local and use RCI Exchange to stay here once or twice a year. We just love it. Stayed in unit 13 this time. Great end unit with a decent view of the bay (not nearly as nice as the 4 ocean front units but the next best thing). This unit has the downstairs second bedroom, bath, kitchen and living room with the upper floor master and bath. We like this layout more so than the reverse layouts. Just our personal preference. Also, the end units don’t have garages which is fine with us. Unit 13 also has a wood stove which I’m sure you would appreciate in the colder months. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you need. Washer and dryer is a plus. A shoutout to Isabel who once again, made our stay so special.
