I spent two nights here. The hotel is an outpost in Bhumtang valley. Rooms are spacious but rather outdated, although very clean. When I was here there were hardly other guests and service was very nice and efficient, especially when requested to light up the fire to heat up the room. The restaurant area tends to be cold in the wintertime

This was probably really nice twenty years ago but is very tired now. The rooms are nicely sized and equipped but little things have been let slip. Hessian curtains don’t fit the windows, marks on the walls, some electrical sockets and lights don’t work for example. The staff were very helpful and friendly but the food is very poor

The rooms are very big. The radiator was very much welcomed in the cool nights. I requested the staff to start a fire in the old heater and they did. Love the warmth of a natural fire. The floor of the bathroom is heated. That is super nice. The hair dryer does after 60 sec from overheating. Pretty useless. My friend’s room has no hot water n they couldn’t fix it.

We have travelled in March 2024, we stayed for two days and we found the hotel creepy. It is very tired, very cold, they had no wood for the stove but luckily they had another heater since it was empty. Once upon a time, it may have been decent but not anymore.

We stayed here for two nights with hardly few other guests. Service was fantastic and they always greeted with a smile. Rooms are quite outdated however well maintained and neat. It was a pleasant stay at Ugyen Ling. We loved the stay and the tasty food that was prepared. Thanks to everyone for making our stay a memorable one. One small point to note is that the bathroom kept having a smell (maybe the wood) but would be good to have some fresheners.
