Our stay at Chitra Katha in Jaipur was truly memorable. The hotel staff were incredibly well-behaved, professional, and always ready to assist. A special mention goes to Sanjay Bhaiya, who not only suggested the best-planned trips to Jaipur’s forts but also shared fascinating stories about the city’s rich heritage, making our sightseeing experience even more meaningful. We also had a great experience with Ikbal, our Tuk Tuk driver, whom we hired for two days of sightseeing. He was polite, punctual, and finally dropped us at the railway station, ensuring a hassle-free journey. One thing to note is the high prices of food in Jaipur. Most of the restaurants we visited were quite expensive, and Chitra Katha was no different. Although the food was delicious, it was definitely on the pricier side. However, one good point is that the hotel serves non-vegetarian food, which is rare in Jaipur, where most places are strictly vegetarian. The rooms at Chitra Katha were tidy, spacious, and clean, providing a comfortable stay. The room service was excellent, always prompt and efficient. We even left our keys behind, and when we returned, we found our room neatly arranged and well-maintained. The attention to detail and cleanliness made our stay even more pleasant. Caution: Be wary of commissioned stores! Avoid big, shiny markets that resemble malls, even if recommended by someone. Do not buy a lot from a single shop—these tourist traps will overcharge you for low-quality products. Stay smart while shopping in Jaipur!
