It took my wife two days to get to Jacksonville to meet me at my business meeting due to a series of airline delays, so I wanted to have her favorite drink waiting for her when she arrived. I ordered a vodka and soda and told Todd, the Sheridan bartender, it was for my wife who was on her way from the airport. He immediately poured her drink into a glass and said he didn’t want the ice to melt and dilute her drink, and he would re-pour it when she arrived. Then he suggested that she might be hungry after flying all day, so I ordered her some food. After some time had passed, I asked if I could order some onion rings for myself. Unfortunately, the kitchen was closed but he said he would make them himself. When my wife finally arrived and I we went out to meet her I heard someone saying to the Uber driver, “I’ll get that bag.” Todd had followed me out to the front entrance to welcome my wife to the Sheridan, and help with her bags! Todd then kept the bar open long enough for my wife to enjoy her food and drink without having to rush. Todd’s welcoming service went well above and beyond anything we have ever experienced in all our travels before. Hope we get a chance to come back someday just to say hi to Todd.

This hotel was in a great location, especially if you didn't rent a car. There were so many places to walk to...restaurants, breweries, gas station, CVS, etc. And they were good restaurants! The place was clean and it has a beautiful pool in the back of the building. The gym was handy and they have complimentary breakfast with many items to choose from. Like any hotel it had a few kinks, but what made it great were the team members at the front desk, specifically Armenia and Andy. Both of them were so friendly, so helpful, so cheery and accommodating. I did not find out until after dealing with Andy that he is the manager. And Armenia couldn't say enough great things about him and his managing style. He treats them all as a team and even further...as a family! My company treats everyone the same way, so I admire this style. Cheers to you Andy! Marriott is lucky to have you.

My wife and I celebrated our 40th anniversary in April. We wanted to be located near good food, shopping and highway access. We were pleased with the cleanliness and room accomodations. What pleased me and my wife was the 5 Star service we received from the Homewood Suites Hotel staff. We were greeted with a friendly smile. We are Hilton Honors guest and travel through out the United States, staying at various Hilton properties. This was our most pleasant stay. The team of Cheryl Horne,Ussette,Amy,Ms Kim and Murak made us feel at home. It is so hard to experience good customer service but this was 5 star service. I believe that this team should receive some type of positive recognition. GREAT JOB! You made our 40th anniversary so nice. Thank you, Don Samuels

We highly recommend this hotel for visitors to Jacksonville or the Mayo Clinic. The rooms are nicely decorated, the beds are comfortable, and the staff are friendly and helpful. Great location. Parking was no problem. There are lots of good restaurants and bars nearby. We will definitely stay here again on future trips to this area.

I'm a Gold level Marriott member so I write this with genuine disappointment, especially as outside of this event this was mr new 'go-to' hotel when I needed to come to Jacksonville for medical at Mayo. I'm in my 2nd of a 2 night stay. I had a had a medical procedure this morning which required putting me under. I returned to my room and rested for a few hours and then found the bathroom heavily flooded. I went to the front desk to ask for help and no one was there. I waited and some guy told me to hold on, he'd go find someone. Eventually, a front desk guy named Melvin came out who was unproductive and oddly discourteous in a way that was unearned and about him. I told the problem and after some confusion he was able to contact engineering to come meet us at the front desk. While waiting, I asked him if he could see if there was availability for another room. He said ”No, I can't move you until engineering says the problem can't be fixed. Plus, we're pretty full.”I said ”yes but if you could just check if availability exists as I've just had a medical procedure and am exhausted,” a d held up my bandaged srm from where the IV just was hours ago. He then said no, rolled his eyes, and argued with me which was weird because I wasn't arguing with him. The Palmene the engineer arrived and asked my room number, 723, and he immediately told Melvin and me no one is supposed to be in that room as there is a roof leak which isn't his fault because the roof guys hadn't fixed it yet. I asked Mel in if he could now check if other rooms were available? He said no, ot until the engineer goes with me to the room. I asked ”why nit just give me a key now to a new room so I could directly pack, switch rooms and then return the key to the flooded room? Palmene the Engineer agreed and started explaining and literally mid-sentence Melvin started helping someone else who randomly walked up to ask a question about parking. I asked Melvin to please resolve one problem at a time and he refused. It was really sincerely weird; rude in such a misplaced way that it was farcical. So Palmene and I went to the room, he immediately knew where the roof leak in the bathroom was, repeated that the room should never have been occupied nor I put in it. He kindly ran to get me new room keys and a luggage dolly so I could pack to move. He returned with them and helped solve the problem and apologized for Melvin acting rudely and unconstructively. After packing and switching rooms I took the dolly down to the lobby and Melvin came up to tell me i could have just it in the hallway instead of nust saying thanks for returning it. This is a flooded room on a medical procedure day exasperated a really incompetent front desk guy with a poor attitude.

Cleanliness: very clean Sleep Quality: poor. The mattresses are Terrible, both of the queen beds. They need new ones. Back pain is guaranteed in the morning if you can fall asleep. The single AC unit is very loud. Amenities: the pool is not opened. On a hot day, we were looking to cool down in the pool. Staff/Service: very nice and friendly front desk. They acknowledged and greeted us as valued Elite Marriott members. Property/Facilities: the hotel opened on February 10th, 2023. We stayed there five months later. Rooms are spacious and clean although entrance to hotel from the street is challenging. The room is spacious, and the kitchenette is very small. Housekeeping is sub-optimum as they did not provide cups for coffee maker and did not replace the drinking plastic cups with unopened ones. This is major hygiene violation. The bathroom towels are beaten up…. Passed their lifetime by several months. Breakfast beside being mediocre at its best …. lacking variety, it is first come first serve. If you want fruits, you need to come early at least 90 minutes before closing. Eggs are terrible. Location: excellent location just off the main freeway. Value: the cheaper price way paid is not worth it (compared with other similar category hotels in the area) because of all the faults I mentioned above. Overall rating! 2.5 out of 5 (being nice) Recommendations: I will not stay there again for sure, and I do not recommend it to anyone. Pay extra somewhere else and have a good night sleep.

Wir genossen unseren Aufenthalt. Die Mitarbeiter waren erstaunlich beim Einchecken und Fragen beantworten. Großes Zimmer und Balkonblick, liebe es. Zimmer sauber und sanitiert gut. Das Frühstück war frisch und heiß sowie das Personal war freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Ich hatte vor 2 Wochen eine Buchung in diesem Hotel. Ich konnte nicht bleiben, weil sie nicht Geld für das Zimmer nehmen. So musste ich die Geschäftspläne annullieren und die 4 Stunden nach Hause fahren. Ich habe die Resv neu geplant, für heute Aug.2nd und 3rd. Abbildung ich würde dem Ort eine zweite Chance geben, da es in der Nähe, wo meine Apps sind. schlechte Idee. Erst aus dem Resv. wurde für 3 Erwachsene 1 4 Jahre alt Rollstuhl zugänglich gemacht. Es war nicht, als wir in unser Zimmer. war standart Zimmer . Der Stuhl passte fast nicht durch die Tür. Ruft und wurde ein anderes Zimmer gegeben. Handicap bereit. war ein Tub nur im Badezimmer. Gerufen zurück zum Desk Ans fragte, wie eine Person in einem Rollstuhl bade oder die Schüssel nutzen wollte, da es keine Eisen, um zu helfen. es wurde gesagt, dass alles, was wir haben. Also rief ich Corp. zu beschweren und zu sehen, ob die andere von den Hotels hier Unterkünfte hatte. wurde ja gesagt, sie hatten eine für uns. Sie hatte eine Rev. auf dem Computer, so dass sie wusste, es war für 4 Personen. Wir haben ein King-Bettzimmer verfügbar. Eine 4 Personen Bett? Also das funktionierte auch nicht . Muss wieder schema. Was ich nicht tun wollte. Eigentümer war auf der Website und wir blieben die eine Nacht mit 50 Prozent Preis ab. Wird nie wieder hier bleiben, egal ob der Preis in erster Linie groß war, wenn es nicht für den Besitzer, die mit uns arbeiten, wäre es noch 5 Stunden zurück nach Hause fahren. Diabetes keine Nahrungsmittel-Ursache mit all diese bs alle Ruhe, geschlossen Auch mit all das ich wurde gesagt, keine Tiere. So verließen wir Service Dog zu Hause. Sie wussten, dass er Service Dog. Als wir ankam, was in der Lobby war, aber ein Hund, der nur ein Tier ist. Das schlimmste Hotel und das Personal, das ich in meinen 64 Jahren getroffen habe, sind andere kleine Dinge ohne Eisbuck, ohne Kaffee und Handtücher nur für einen von uns. Jetzt erinnern Sie sich an 4 Peeps im Zimmer, das Baby war der einzige auf dem, der baden konnte, dass perfekt war. Wenn die anderen 3 von Verwendung wollte Bad wir mussten gehen Treppen holen Handtücher und signieren sie. Rückkehren Sie sie, wenn wir auschecken, Wirklich

Allgemeine Zufriedenheit, wir waren für eine Nacht hier, die Einrichtungen sind komplett, das Hotel ist nicht neu, aber geschmacklos. Das Frühstück ist einfach, aber die Lage ist gut, es ist praktisch, überall hinzugehen und der Preis ist gut?
