For some reason their Google reviews are turned off for this business, so I am leaving a review here. The outside of the building was beautiful in the photos and exactly the same in person. However, upon pulling up to check in around 9:30 PM, I got a weird vibe right off the get go. Lots of suspicious people walking around, leaning on their cars with their trunks open and shirts off, walking into the building with their shirts off too, etc. I’m not a prude, this was just a weird first impression. Front desk staff was very nice. The rooms were sort of a disappointment, you can tell this hotel has been here a long time and it was somewhat renovated (mostly just painted and new decor) and then rebranded as Sleep Inn. In the middle of the night I was awoken several times due to some loud banging that sounded like someone was trying to bust in my room, but think it must have just been the neighbors. Then, around 4:30 AM the fire alarms started going off. Mind you, I have a 10 month old baby and we only got 5 hours of not that great sleep after a super long day of traveling, so I was definitely not happy about this. Then, from the hall, I could hear someone screaming, “HELP!! HELPHELPHELPHELPHELP!!!!!” I opened my door to see some cr!ckhead pr!stitute throwing all of her items out of her room into the hall because her room was flooding due to the water sprinklers going off in her room. The alarms continued to go off for another 20-30 minutes but it didn’t matter, I decided to pack up and head tf out of there anyhow. The police and fire dept showed up. The hallway was soaked and the carpet squished beneath your feet as you walked out. We were about 5 rooms down from her and the water crept into our room as well. Future note to self: it’s ABSOLUTELY worth paying a little more for a hotel, especially with family, to hopefully **** out trouble people like this.
