Snake River Cabin Village

The deluxe cabin fits 4 pax nicely, no oven but stove tops for easy breakfast. Cabin is clean and equipped with many outlets to charge our electronic gadgets. Love the sounds of river flowing from our Black mama unit.

Great location; Quiet; some cabins look out over the river; when the weather is cooling down better than a tent; refrigerator and shower are a plus. Great price! Be sure to bring a sleeping bag and sheet for the beds. They have a nice fire pit and picnic table.

I can put up with them cashing 50% upon reservation (which in our case was three months ahead of time), advising us of a drastic refund policy, cashing the balance one week in advance, having us sign endless number of waivers and disclaimers, having to take the garbage out of the cabin ready for pickup no later than 11am which is also leaving time while check-in is a very strict 3PM. I can even put up with the closeness of the cabins, thus complete lack of privacy and the noise. What really scratched me the wrong way was the strong warning of NO COOKING in the cabin, at the risk of $200 fine. What is the purpose to have a 2 bedroom cabin with fully equipped kitchen in the middle of nowhere if you cannot cook anything? More fines treats advise you of cleaning the cabin and all you touched inside. I can understand if there were a restaurant on the premises. But there isn’t. And the policy is not disclosed anywhere on the WEB site. Plus, they kept sending requests to post your impressions on variable media sites, even though we asked to be removed from their mailing list. We picked the place because of its proximity to the Dinosaur National Monument, but I am definitely not recommending it to anybody. **

I really enjoyed staying in a Honey Bear cabin for a few days with 3 other people. I do recommend you look at the dimensions of the cabins because the Honey bear does sleep 4, but the beds take up most of the space in the cabin so not a lot of standing room. We could not comfortably pull out the dining table to seat 4. This does not really bother me, but it might bother people who need more space. The desk staff were really friendly and helpful with whatever we needed. I loved the community fire pit and yard games. Being able to walk down to the Snake River for an early morning walk was awesome. We did hear the gunshots from the neighbor who shoots guns every night, I hate to hold it against the business but If I had smaller children with me, they would have been scared. I did not feel unsafe though, it was just slightly inconvenient. The beds in the cabin were good and there was plenty of hot water for showers. I would stay here again. The owner runs a really great rafting company too, I highly recommend rafting with them.

We stayed in a campsite the last weekend before it closes for the season. It was perfect, they keep it so well maintained and clean the whole time. The camp hosts are all very helpful and kind. It's 10 miles out of Jackson Hole but it's a quick drive and have stores and gas stations closes if needed. Will be back, loved every moment.

We enjoyed our stay for two nights in the Honey Bear cabin. It was well equipped with everything we needed and super clean. It was nice having the river close by and the fire pits that were lit each night outside our cabin. The staff are friendly and accommodating. It was a close drive into the town of Jackson and Grand Teton NP. I would highly recommend a stay here and we will return if ever in the area again.

The location was ideal for our visit to Jackson Hole and the Grand Teton NP. The cabin was clean, neat and a good size for my husband and I. It was nice to see multiple fire pits going at night. Gave a real "camp site" feel. Yet the property was quiet.

Staff was knowledgeable and friendly, place was clean and well appointed. Our two objections were “upgrade “ we were given and the low ceiling in the loft bedroom. We were called and ask if we would agree to be moved to another larger cabin. Never saw the other cabin so I’m no sure how much of an upgrade it was. I do know that the cabin we ended up in was the one closes to the road and therefore the road noise. Not really an upgrade in my opinion. The other problem was the low ceiling in the loft , which was difficult for our 6 foot friend to deal with. Younger kids might find it fun but anyone over 5 ft is going to need a helmet
