Eleia Hotel İznik

Eleia Hotel is one of the nicer hotels in Iznik. There are no international chain hotels in the city. I was told this was a 4-star boutique hotel. The hotel is a couple blocks off the lake in a housing development consisting of new or newer apartments and homes. All the museums and historical sites within Iznik are within walking distance. The farthest away is maybe 20 minutes walking distance. Unfortunately, the hotel does not provide bicycles for guests. Upon arrival, my first impression of the hotel was very nice. The exterior and the lobby are very nice. The décor is modern and what you expect from a boutique hotel. There is also a garden with some outside tables and a play area for children. There is a small restaurant adjoining the lobby. Breakfast is served here. I think dinner is also available, but I never received a hotel directory, welcome letter, or any information on hotel amenities and services. There is no bar nor any alcohol. I do not understand why a hotel does not serve wine. Even if the hotel does not advertise the wine, good wine should be available for discreet purchases by guests who want to drink. This is a problem in Iznik because many, if not most, restaurants in Iznik do not serve alcohol. My room had a balcony with a view of the lake. It was comfortable and partially clean. I say partially clean because the shower had extensive mold or mildew. Also, the sink in the bathroom had mold. While the housekeeper does a very good to excellent job at cleaning the rooms, the owner/management is not properly maintaining the rooms. The mold was pervasive. From the amount of mold, it is obviously not a new issue. The mold has been growing for a very long time. That is entirely unacceptable. Mold can be dangerous. The room was comfortable but basic. There are no accessible USB outlets. There is also only one accessible electrical outlet. How are guests supposed to charge devices? It was impossible to charge my computer, camera battery, and telephone. In the year 2025, you expect at least two accessible electrical outlets and at least two accessible USB outlets. In terms of in-room amenities, besides the tea kettle and mini-refrigerator, there was a newer TV with an extensive selection of Turkish TV channels. No English TV channels, not even BBC or CNN. In the bathroom, you receive one set of towels even though the room sleeps two people. The toiletries consisted of unbranded small bottles of shampoo and body wash. No bottles of lotion and conditioner were provided. You receive two pairs of slippers but no robes. Why provide slippers if you aren’t going to provide robes? The bedding consisted of a bottom sheet, a duvet, and two pillows. Most hotels would provide four pillows. The two provided pillows were very cheap foam or polyester pillows. There is no working air conditioning. A master temperature for the whole hotel controls the temperature. At times, according to the thermostat, my room reached 31 degrees Celsius. As a r

Temiz ferah bir otel güleryüzlü personel konumu çok güzel ama kahvaltı harici çay ücretleri oda numarasına yazılıyor . Bu şık değildi. 50-100 tl para değil fakat müşteri memnuniyeti açısından çok önemli. Memnun kaldık. Güzel bir oteldi. Barbaros beye de çok teşekkür ediyoruz

Путешествовала на машине по османским городам. Выехала из Стамбула 02.02.2022, и через несколько часов была в Изнике. Отель заранее не бронировала и не ошиблась: все то, что предлагалось на сайтах, не устроило по разным веским причинам. Этот отель нашла случайно, потеряв надежду на удачу. Сразу обращает внимание ухоженная территория отеля. Очень любезный, доброжелательный персонал. Лифт. Номера с разными видами: на озеро или на оливковые рощи. Я выбрала номер с балконом на озеро. Вид реально был на озеро. Номер просторный, чистый, очень комфортный. Комплиментарный вода, чай, кофе в номере. Чистый санузел, средства для душа. Тихо. Комфортно. Персоналу отеля отдельное спасибо! Однозначно рекомендую этот отель!
