Das Hotel verfügt über einen schönen Strand, einen Swimmingpool und ein Planschbecken. Das Meer ist sehr schön. Unser Zimmer hatte Meerblick. Das Buffet des Hotels ist vielfältig und von guter Qualität. Es stehen 5 Restaurants zur Auswahl, buchen Sie einfach im Voraus. Das Resort ist voller Restaurants, Imbisswagen und Bars. Auch die Aktivitäten sind sehr reichhaltig, mit mehreren Aufführungen am Abend. Es werden auch Aktivitäten für Gäste organisiert.

The Catalonia was such a great destination! Love the idea of all inclusive but still having different restaurants to eat at! All the staff were super friendly and amazing! The entertainment crew was also outstanding!!! Five stars all around!! Will be back soon! Erica at the pool was so sweet! And Natalia at pool entertainment was also spectacular!!

When we booked our family of 4 (2 kids, 9 & 4) in February we weren’t sure of what our experience was going to be based on the mixed reviews. Overall, I am really glad we went forward with the trip. The condition of the resort was great. It was clean. It had good food options and overall was exactly what we were looking for. The logistics of scheduling your dinners isn’t ideal and ultimately I don’t like it having done it for 5 days. With that said, we got all the restaurants we wanted and never did so at midnight like others have mentioned. We would highly recommend the resort overall.

The property is very clean and staff is helpful. The beach area doesn’t have any umbrellas or shaded areas near the water they only have tarp shades and they’re kinda far from the beach the recliners nearest the beach offer no shade and it’s hard to get cocktails brought to you on the beach. It is secluded and atleast a 30 minute ride into Cancun hotel zone. The road at night is kind of scary and it’s hard to get Ubers if it’s late or if it’s been raining as the roads are still in construction to the area. The rooms were spacious and always clean. Pool areas were always clean and offered a lot of activities. Overall good time but definitely not for people looking to have a night life it is Family friendly.

Items that were hanging on my luggage went missing and was never returned. There was no follow up. The drinks were not good; had a nasty after taste like the lime mix used for the margaritas was sour. Room service food menu was limited and not good. We asked for extra cloths and towels frequently and it wasn’t granted the first two days of the stay. The best bet was the snack trucks near the pool and the buffet. Beautiful grounds however, the beach was full of dry seaweed.

The property is gorgeous and the vibe is tranquil. There are pros and cons to mention and just observations from my stay. First, the property as a whole was wonderful and the water in Costa Mujeres is the best! Almost no seaweed compared to Zona Hotelera. Staff was welcoming and very friendly! The cons were room service and no waiter service on the beach. Some of the drawbacks is that the proximity of the rooms to the restaurants/lounges/bars but I guess it helps with noise volume in the rooms. When you get to the beach and have to walk on the sand there's no real walkway except some plastic makeshift walkways which are not particularly safe. My elderly mother slipped and fell because the sand caught between her sandles and the plastic so she slipped. It should just be wood or another material. The food was good but could have been better. I've stayed at other resorts in Cancun with better cuisine. Overall, it was a nice vacation but I will probably try new resorts before coming back.

We love the beach area with lots of coconut trees for a shade, loved the theater too. The restaurants food were ok and the restaurant itself were so hot specially at the Grill no fans, we where placed without air-condition during our dinner and it was so awful, we weren't able to enjoy our dinner at all. Eleven of us in our group noticed staff at the restaurant for dinners always in a rush. It has been every year for the past 5 yrs. coming to Cancun, Isla Majeures, Playa del Carmen the staff always do things above and beyond but the staff in Catalonia Grand they can't deliver what they promise to me did happened 3 times. I did finally give up and said to my group not coming to this brand again Sorry.
