We enjoyed this property. It is away from Centro so usually quieter. The main issue is the proximity to the Burro Restaurant which plays loud 80s music from noon on. We recommend a golf cart for getting around, bring ear plugs for many of the restaurants on the island. You can enjoy a quiet morning on the property then head out to nearby Garrafon de Castilla or to one of the other beaches for a generally quieter time. The maid service was excellent; there's a great continental breakfast that is served to you in a common area. Our room had a small microwave and small refrigerator. Chedraui (a mini-Walmart) is not too far by cart - you can stock up on large bottled water, additional breakfast/lunch microwave Popcorn supplies there and use the fridge/microwave to save your travel time to splurge on dinners at places like La Lomita (mole!), Mahache, or Grill Garden on the North part of the island. The only issues to be aware of is this is one of the properties that doesn't permit paper in the toilet and the tub/shower can be a challenge and a bit slippery to get in/out of.
Isla Mujeres in general: watch your exchange rate. We use the ATM at Banamex (a block East of Senor Frog's) for the lowest fees, Fidelity debit / CCs have no foreign transaction fees now. At the time we went the exchange rate was 18 pesos/ dollar; some restaurants were 14 pesos/dollar. Avoid buying anything at the Cancun airport, if at all possible. Two burgers a fry a bottled water is $35US.
